Another thwarted media orgasm.
Sorry about the AP rule. My bad :-(
LOL, they just can’t decide, yet, what the facts are, what did or did not occur. LOL!
“Another thwarted media orgasm.”
We have a winner folks! No further comment required. ;-)
Ditto.
my guess is, zer0’s black ops force didn’t do the job correctly...
more epic fail.....
more epic fail.....
Wait a minute.
This morning many were saying that the platform explosion was a result of sabotage by the N. Koreans, space aliens or the same agents in the government that blew up the Deepwater Horrizon and planned the attacks on the WTC.
Hussein lost in court to stop drilling this week, and lo and behold, another explosion. Hmm.
Good. After the last one, it’d be expected that all platforms be on lock-down-on-failure mode.
more epic fail.....
+1
But it won't stop him from extending the Saudi Wealth Enhancement Act (offshore drilling ban) for another 6 months, "just to be sure"...
The author (Alan Sayre) says in the article that all crew members were rescued...
“in the second such disaster in the Gulf in less than five months...”
With no fatalities and no oil spilled, what is this “disaster”?
You must be joking. Do you know how many fires and explosions the oil industry has?
Try one roughly every five days.
It wasn’t an operating oil rig. It was being worked on by the thirteen men who ended up in the water.
Try one roughly every five days.
Yes...Yes I was..to a point....it was a snarky remark suggesting that the POSOTUS would do just about anything to promote any one of his Marxist/Islamofascist agendas.
THe media is all over the place with this story.
It is totally buried by some outlets. There were some reports yesterday that it was a non-producing platform and no leaks. Now we read it was producing with 7 wells and there is a mile long slick.
I also read yesterday that it was in 2500 ft of water.
Another article says 340 ft.
Does anyone even bother FACT CHECKING ANYMORE?
No wonder the news media is losing money (along with respect).
Also, every article is stating only who OWNS the platform.
Nobody is saying who is LEASING it. Wonder if BP is leasing it. If so, THEY ARE DONE!
Meanwhile, you cannot deny that 2 oil platform fires in 6 months is a little too much for coincidence. And the TIMING! One day after a judge rules against (again) the drilling moratorium.
Very fishy!
Bingo. Timing is suspect. And the reporting is all over the map. According to the obama media it was not an operating well, but exploded anyway. Mile long oil slick on the gulf water, but later never mind. 13 men in their immersion suits in 80 degree water. jabberwocky.
Let’s approach this one point at a time.
I’ve been in oil and gas for five years, and I have government data bookmarked and access to the real info.
The platform was producing. As best I can ascertain (since I don’t work for Mariner and have no access to their production data), the platform has 12 wells attached to it; I do not know which were flowing at the time.
There was no slick; no oil was spilled.
The lease is 319 feet deep.
Mariner owns the platform and operates it, as they also own the lease; BP is not involved in any way.
Finally, oil rig fires or explosions happen roughly every five days.
“Finally, oil rig fires or explosions happen roughly every five days.”
ARE YOU SERIOUS?!!!
Very interesting!
IF that is true (and I don’t necessarily have reason to doubt you cause I know nothing about the offshore drilling industry), but if it is true, then that means the msm was given marching orders to make THIS PARTICULAR explosion a big story since it occurred the day after the judge ruled against the drilling moratorium and they want to sway public opinion. I’ve already read numerous IDIOT bloggers supporting the moratorium and a total permanent ban on drilling!
