I realize I'm not making a fresh observation, but it really irks me that when the media interviews a Republican, they are combative and hectoring, repeating all of the administration's talking points, pushing the Republican to see the error of their ways. However, when the media interviews a Democrat, they take the role of assistant and try to help the Democrat spread the word -- the media will set up the scene, fill in the blanks, correct any mis-statements (Stephanopoulos: "You mean your
Christian faith").
The notion of objectivity in the press is ridiculous.
The network news is irrelevant. I have never watched any more than a couple seconds of Brian Williams in the entire time he’s been anchor. And the few seconds I watch have been because I have been surfing channels and can’t switch away from him quick enough. He is radioactive—as soon as I see him I switch away.
