If you thought media coverage of the Aug. 28 "Restoring Honor" rally hosted in Washington D.C. by Fox News host Glenn Beck seemed like just another attack on conservatives, you're not alone. As noted by the Daily Caller's Jim Treacher, much of the coverage had a common thread: describing the crowd as "overwhelmingly white."

I don't get it - is that supposed to be OUR fault?? So, WHY is it "overwhelmingly white". WE'RE certainly NOT keeping other races away. So, why don't THEY come to these rallies???
Please compare the % of race in the participation in the Beck Rally to the % of race participant in Rev AL’s (Don’t even worry about the attendees neither had control over that facet. Even though Beck’s were more varied.
Both Beck and Rev Al could only control who spoke, were honored, sang, prayed etc.......Now let’s talk about who was inclusive and who was racist?
Not surprising that there are no blacks at Unitarian churches. Their congregations are virtual atheists aren’t they?
It may be a cultural thing that blacks do not attend such rallies.
Did you see the interview of the guy who went to the Beck rally to protest and was converted....He had planned on attend Rev AL’s later but didn’t go.

Yes, but the Sharpton crowd was oberwhelming black. There was about the same ratio of black/white, white/black.
Most non-whites would not attend anything that is not approved by the Plantation Mas'ah because they're committed to standing behind the Party that panders to them as a second-class voting block.
They've lined up behind the President BASED PRIMARILY ON SKIN COLOR.
They aren't PERMITTED to think for themselves as to whether an event such as 8/28 is something they'd be interested in checking out.
They'd be accused of being traitors to their Party's official position of POLITICALLY CORRECT racism.
It's not that they have a problem with racism. It's just that you have to follow the dictates of the correct racism.
There were Blacks on the podium, and Blacks in the crowd.
The media is missing the whole point, and trying to make sure everyone else does too.
This wasn’t about race. It wasn’t about politics. It was about a return to God, each person renewing their relationship as a means to start rebuilding our nation.
The real question is, were Blacks welcome there? The answer to that is a resounding yes.
Glenn was told of a man who came to Washington to attend Al Sharpton’s counter protest. The guy stopped by the Beck Rally to protest. So he listened for a few moments and realized there was nothing to protest.
He left a converted individual. He never made it to the Sharpton love fest.
Print that media whores.
Christians who suspect Beck, chalk one up for Christ here. Glenn moved him back from the dark side. You should praise God for that. He does work in mysterious ways. He is capable of working through any of us, for His will to be done.

They probably make an issue of it, to hopefully generate more revenue, draw attention to itself and discussion...which it’s obviously done here.
It takes great courage for anyone of color to stand against the flow and not go-along-to-get-along when the blind masses exhibit constant...and often ugly...pressure do so or be accused being an "Uncle Tom" or some other such slur.
Just as Muslims are expected to have their shared commitment to that cult be the ultimate determinant of their loyalties, those of color are expected to show the same loyalty based on their skin pigmentation.
Yet they claim at the same time to be more "progressive" on racial issues...the "enlightened" ones.
