You bet I was!
There would have been 25-30 million there if they could have made it.
Contrast that with...

Washington trash trucks hauled away at least 130 tons of garbage after the inauguration of President Obama, with more to go. National Park Service workers picked up almost 100 tons on the Mall and near the White House.
Because most trash cans had been removed for security reasons and a record-breaking crowd gathered downtown, the mountain of rubbish left behind was of historic proportions.
“More than any Fourth of July, more than any event we’ve seen,” Park Service spokesman William Line said.
I would have gone if I could and I don’t like crowds or cities.
I loved this post in the comments:
“Some economic terms defined for all yaw who cling to guns or religion, known to 80% of Americans as average folk.
A Recession: When your neighbor loses his job.
A Depression: When you lose your job.
Economic Recovery: When Obama loses his job.”
Was it as awesome as I saw on C-SPAN?!
Oh, we can only Hope for that Hope and Change!
Even more awesome!!!
I’ve got two employees on vacation. Couldn’t make it. Sorry I missed it.
The aftermath shows who are the builders and who waits for others to do the work.
Any photos of the aftermath from Sharpton’s little filthfest?
Exactly, FRiend, exactly!
I’m looking for the aftermath of Sharpton’s shing-ding too...
I’ve got some liberals that need to be put in place...
Exactly, FRiend, exactly!
We took what we brought and left no damage, as usual. The sound and video were very good, all the way back to the Washington monument.
Another racist thread?
There’s excuses in the MSM that there was a lot of trash at the inauguration because trash barrels were taken away for security reasons and apparently you couldn’t walk around with big garbage bags = security reasons.
Were there any trash barrels there, were there a lot, none - few, etc.
I’m thinking most walked out with what they walked in with, something not considered by most, apparently, during the inauguration.
I was there. I went to the Lincoln Memorial again at about 8pm on Saturday and took pictures of the area. Garbage cans etc. I have never seen a cleaner place. Amazing.
All the garbage cans were full and the overflow was around the cans. Nothing else anywhere. Yeahh to all the patriots that attended. God bless you and may the Lord bless America and Glenn Beck.
It was just what you saw during the event. The people and acts of kindness were more than I have ever witnessed...and tea parties have been great. I saw men stop and help old women up steps and curbs, offer to carry belongings and so many acts of sheer gracious concern for others that I had to write a letter to friends and family about it...
Want a copy? Private reply an email or snail mail and I will send it to you too. I got there before midnight and stayed to the end. I wrote about the hours before the event.
Avoid the city and walk over from Arlington Cemetery Parking on the Virginia side. Cross Memorial bridge and there is the Lincoln Memorial just 200 feet away.
The people at an event like this will take away all your fears!
