Obama says he ignored Beck rally
He seemed intent on casting himself as above the political fray, saying he had more important work to do than to engage in the back and forth of the political “silly season.”
For example, Obama said he did not watch any of Fox News Channel host Glenn Beck’s “Restoring Honor” rally Saturday on the National Mall.
“It’s not surprising that somebody like a Mr. Beck is able to stir up a certain portion of the country. That's been true throughout our history,” he said. But “I’m making decisions that are not necessarily good for the nightly news and not good for the next election, but for the next generations.”

Most Presidents would have said nothing about the Beck rally, and that would be the more practical view to do. In this case...it’s funny how he words this...”someone like Mr Beck...”.
The scary thing is—I am not sure Obama cares or even wants to be elected or run again. What he does care about is making his mark in history (good or bad), and dramatically shaping the country to his radical agenda. Someone with nothing really to lose is very dangerous. Watch the lame duck session in congress coming up. Things could get real ugly.

They are already ugly. He reported Arizona to the UN Human Rights group. He has directed ICE to no longer deport. He no longer cares about the legality of his actions. He is simply doing things to get his agenda through. It appears he might even take action at the UN over the 22 states that oppose Obamacare. These are even more the actions of someone who thinks someone has his back than someone who plans to leave power in 2013.

I liked the movie with Freddie Bartholomew. He’d have made a better President than the incumbent. I was referring to the popular stereotype of a stuck-up kid in over his head and faking it, not the original Fauntleroy.
But he is supposed to be on vacation. What is the more important work that he has to do?

Obama didn’t say that he didn’t listen to The Howie Carr Show, while he was on vacation. Obama didn’t say that he didn’t read the Boston Herald, either.
