We lost our country due to McCain-Feingold. It will never be as good as pre-2007 in large prat thanks to McCain.
I’m not the least bit impressed with Arizona Republicans. Not sure any of them can be trusted, including Kyl and Brewer. And we don’t even have to mention McCain.
Does anyone even know where Brewer stands on pathways to citizenship for illegals?
And we know Kyl opposed that in 2006, and ran against it in 2006 for reelection, then was a big amnesty pusher in 2007 after winning another term.
Not a group to be trusted. JD is by far the best of those Republicans, and they all turned against him, even though he’d always actively supported the policies they claim to support far more than any of them.
Notice the reaction (or lack thereof) from the crowd when she mentioned McCain at the Beck event yesterday?
I missed all your subsequent posts about that. What did they say?
He probably didn’t receive one.
In ‘10 and beyond, if enough of Congress becomes truly conservative, then John McCain will have to choose between, either, “going along” with conservatives on all of the issues, or going at it alone and looking foolish while doing so. Truly decreasing the total numbers of leftists from both major political parties is key to the long-term and, hopefully, healthy future of conservatism.
Is Sarah's opinion relevant? In the end, JD still has to run a race against McCain. It wouldn't matter if Goldwater himself endorsed him from the grave. He still ran a crappy campaign and got his behind handed to him.
He lost fair and square, and he needs to honor his pledge of supporting McCain in the general election to secure as many Republicans seats as possible.
I didn't have to.

Perhaps you should read more.
Last time the GOP held the senate we had that ‘gang of 14’ crapola — courtesy of McLame-Goober RINO’s influences. Fact is the country club Senate is a thug gang when Dems own it and GOP plays footsies when its in control. McLame is not the new breed of conservative youngbloods we need in DC. That goes for his underling pansy Lindsey Goober as well.
Sarah’s opinions on anything and everything are very relevant, because she’s considered one of the major contenders for ‘12 POTUS. Only Sarah’s official end to any run for ‘12 POTUS will, also, end her being under the microscope.
How did McQueeg win? Are all the geriatrics in Arizona drinking the kool aid? Or is Arizona ceding to Mexico?
Republicans didn’t win the Arizona GOP’s senate primary - the democrats crossing over did.
McCain is a lizard, cold, scaly and slithery... but just watch, he will succumb to old age and begin making folks wonder at his senility. The sad thing is, he’s been showing signs of senility for several years now, and supporters look on with glazed over brains.
You're confused.
George Lindsey was Goober. Lindsey Graham has far more in common with Jim Nabors. Therefore, Lindsey would be more accurately lampooned as Gomer Graham.
You're welcome.
I’ve lost all respect for Arizona’s RINO Republicans. If the voters of Arizona cannot see the damage that John McCain has inflicted on the entire country - then they are part of the problem too. I know there were a lot of good conservatives that voted for Hayworth, but it wasn’t enough to overcome McCain’s huge money chest and dispicable negative advertising (which he refused to use on Obama).
I really think John McCain is one of the most evil politicians in office right now. Listening to him makes me physically ill.
Someone should start a venture of people betting on how long it will take Juan to stab Republicans and conservatives in the back again. I give him one month after winning the primary in November - if that long.
Anyone that believes this sorry little man has changed - should be committed.
I'm talking about in terms of endorsements. She can't run a race for anyone she endorses. It's up to the candidate.
You'll also notice that many of Sarah's supporters spoke out against her decision to endorse McCain, which destroys the narrative that her supporters are sheep.
Except he implies that he WANTED to attend, but wasn't invited. Either he is lying, or he is an idiot.
My guess is he told exactly the truth, that he didn't receive a written invitation in the mail that made it to his desk.
Maybe he was miffed because he got an oral invitation, and that McCain didn't call him personally or something. I don't know -- but I can't imagine the republicans would have NOT invited him to the event, since winners are always looking to make sure the losers are mollified so their supporters don't get the impression they are not wanted.
Which I presume is what Hayworth is trying to do here, get credit for not being at the rally, while also pretending he wasn't invited, to stir up his supporters.
