If President Obama has a big economic initiative up his sleeve, as he hinted recently, now would be a good time to let the rest of us in on it.
News on Friday confirmed that the economy was far weaker in the second quarter than originally believed, growing at 1.6 percent versus an initial reading of 2.4 percent. Grim reports on housing sales indicate that the slowdown has continued. In a normal recession, housing would lead the way up from the depths. Today, it appears to be leading the way back down.

Fixed it the way it should have been written but the NY Slimes just could not go that far. At least they are circling the truth now, even if they cannot actually state it. They have to, the truth is far too glaring and far too many Americans are not swallowing their pap any longer. But, they just cannot bear to be critical of "their man." Criticism is reserved for use only at the Republicans...and, still, for Bush.
About a week or so ago I saw a chart here that showed Canada had fully recovered from the economic disaster and I thought they did this with no stimulus. The point was that we’d have been better off without all this expensive government intervention.
After reading that the NYT thinks the stimulus was too small I went to find this chart again and found only the opposite - that Canada had a huge stimulus.
Hmmmm
What continually gets me is that the government is only giving us back our own money.
Whatever Obama’s plans are or may be, they are dedicated to one end: The destabilization of America, the destruction of her society as necessary to that skewed ideology, and the redistribution of wealth and power according to racial /ethnic minority nationalism -socialism ideology.
In short, America elected a radical politician who wants to redefine America and destroy her in the process if necessary.So really , to Obama , I say:
“Enough already. Your plans? No thank you. You have done quite enough, and the only thing you have to do which will satisfy America is to leave the office you have purloined, and take your fascist running dogs with you.”

All these words and all the NY Times is really saying is:
We need more taxes (sacrifice) and more spending on Democratic priorities.
This is the same thing they’ve been saying for 50 years.
“It could be energy independence, with high-tech green jobs and a real chance for addressing global warming. Either of the above would make sense, economically and politically. ‘
These people are still living in a cloud of delusion, with no clue what is happening in the real world.
