I appreciate your postings. Thank you. Good comeback by the way :-).

Yeah, and we do move on, but why be negative and gummy up a post most of us appreciate.....when its you who should have just moved on.
Asking a question is negative?
You’re a bit sensitive, Nancy.
I see your account has been banned or suspended. That about sums it up.
I’ve noticed that you gripe about what is posted quite a bit that’s all. Sometimes it would be nice to read a positive thread without some of the regular whiners bitchin’ that’s all. I usually don’t respond by the way.
No kidding? I'll have to look into that.
Thanks for letting me know.
I stood up for all the Pledge of Allegiance, I stood for the National Anthem, I stood, cried, and clapped for the Veterans introduced by Palin.
The Vietnam Veteran who gave the closing prayer was super. He is such a GREAT AMERICAN., his wife too.
In short, I blew through a box of tissues.
After Beck left, and the singers came on, I cried some more. For me, even though I participated via the net, I felt like I was there.
God Bless all.
Thanks for reporting! I came onto FR specifically to look for a report, and found yours right away. I love the pics, especially the pre dawn shots.
Were you able to see and hear everything?
Yes, the IMAG and the sound were incredible. We were at such a distance that we could see them on the stage but they were tiny. However, we were only 100 yards or so from an IMAG and could see it clearly. They really did a great job organizing it. Given the size of the crowd, though, I was very glad I drove in pre-dawn. We were able to scoot out very quickly when it was over. The Metro would have been a bear.
Killjoy, you don’t impress anyone.
How awesome that you polled everyone and reached a conclusion so quickly!
Are you magic or what?
I'm trying to think back where I stated I was trying to impress anyone..
Can you come up with that data too, O magic researcher?
I’ve been on the DC Metro, which seems to be in a much smaller scale than the NYC subway system. The cars and seating arrangements seem to hold way less people than a 10 car IND train. I was thinking about this last night, as a matter of fact. My conclusion was that it would be a mob scene, and take forever to get anywhere.
You had the right idea. Glad you went early enough to pull it off.
Glen had said that the jumbo screens and sound would be very good. Good that he was right!
Looking at your pictures and hearing your descriptions is a lot like the situation when I saw Pope John Paul celebrate Mass in Central Park (1995, I think). I could see a lot better on the jumbotron, but it was thrilling to see him with my unaided eyes no matter how tiny. It looks like you were about the same distance from the stage.
I didn’t even get a chance to see 8/28 on Facebook, but I thought about it. I’m glad you were able to go. :-)
I just got back from the rally....amazing number of people from long before it started. DVR of C-span was waiting for me. C-span really had to search to get their shot of that platform with only a few rows of people in front of the stage. In every direction there were tens to hundreds of thousands of people, which of course they didn't want to show.
The radio news is saying "at both rallies" so I guess they'll just go with a total. 500 + 500 thousand is about 500,000. C-span coverage of the Al Sharpton rally shows about 200 people at a high school when it started. We'll see how many march to the memorials.
Restoring America's Honor is not something the left wants to happen. It's a great day to be an American.
Pretty much.
Nice photos. Thanks for the report.
I’ve been listening mostly to WABC on my radios, and on the very liberal network news they’ve been playing Sarah Palin and Al Sharpton soundbites. Also “tea-party blah blah.” NO mention of Glenn Beck’s name whatsoever.
To 27 - LOL What’s funny is that some of those under the impression that you’ve been banned or suspended still post to you.
