Who cares about the Rush vs. Beck numbers. Rush has done beautifully, no doubt, but Beck has been able to capture a market that Rush, Hannity, Levin, and all the rest have not been able to reach. Minorities, women, and even Moderate Democrats who are waking up out of their slumber.
YW!
Looks like it was close to 90 out there or more.
I hope nobody got sick on egg salad samwiches. :-)
Kudos to All those in attendance!!
How pathetic...how truly sad. If they listened at all, watched at all, anyone in this country ought to be so proud of what took place today. Talk about unity! Just wow!
Wow...the MSNBC smackdown. ;)
I know what you said. I thought you were on this board to talk about the issues. I didn’t realize that I wasn’t allowed to add “language” in my comments. My bad. BTW, how does your MSNBC smackdown comment apply to your own clarifying comments?
So is Mr. Tatooed Arm labeling himself as the sole racist at the Restoring Honor Rally?

When we were walking back to our bus we saw a group of about 15 of these ‘protesters’. I recognize their signs, but they were sitting down with very despondent body language. As the ‘activist’ patriots streamed past them, nary a word was spoken, unless it was a “look at them, aren’t they pathetic!”
Those 15 were the only ‘disrupters’ that I saw in a sea of hundreds of thousands.
I couldn’t follow this...yard work. Thanks for all you do here on FR, Kristinn
Did the Panthers or affiliated rabble (NOI) ever show up?
Who knows you better than you?
Never underestimate the power of thinking people in large numbers.
He not only thanked Him, he said that it was his duty as a believer to share the Gospel of Jesus Christ! It was awesome.
The middle part of the program was a bit long, but wow, when Beck returned to speak it was an amazing moment that few will ever witness in their lifetime.
We live about 2 hours from DC and when I took my wife to work an hour ago we noticed a bunch of cars parked on the outer edge of a huge strip mall. What’s going on we thought. Wife then posited that they were Restoring Honor attendees that took a bus. I drove by to check bumper sticker, etc. and we saw some ‘don’t tread on me’, ‘restoring honor’, and bible verses on license tags. There were at least 250 cars, probably 8-10 bus loads.
What was interesting to me was that only 25% had identifiable stickers, etc. Most had no identifying emblems. There are a lot of invisible activists weighing in on what’s going on in the country. The feelings here are deep and broad.
When Obama was elected and I wondered why God allowed it. The only consolation I could take was that it would awaken the people of America not to take for granted their God-given freedoms while there were still enough people who cared, and that this generation would reverse the course of the country and teach future generations to understand how these freedoms must be safeguarded. I am overwhelmed by the response of the people. To everyone who went, you made a difference. God bless you all.
Couldn’t agree more...

Besides red white and blue clothes and adornments, there were lots of message bearing tee-shirts - easy to see because of the “no signs” rule/request.
Plenty of camaraderie.
A wonderful day on the Mall.
Very few policemen needed for crowd control, because we are not the disrupting type.
Glenn Beck did a tremendous job and it filled me with pride and a resolve to restore honor wherever and however I can. Let's make it a point to gather again as Americans, and I have no doubt that we will, and lift our voices and sing the songs we know and love. Or, for that matter, wherever and whenever WE THE PEOPLE gather, let us always include a salute to our country with song and our hands over our hearts.
Thanks. I haven’t seen any such reports. There were a few punky anarchist kids wearing bandanas over their faces who showed up carrying provacative signs.
Just a “few hundred” there, right? /sarc
That view just about brings tears to my eyes that there are
so many people that are willing to take the time to let the
world know that America is alive and well....and LOVED!!!
God bless America and God protect our troops!
Are there any post-rally pix of the Mall? I’d be surprised to see any clutter. We left early-ish, but at last year’s 9/12 were there after the crowd dispersed and nary a piece of trash could be found. Even the signs were stacked neatly.
