Mitt Romney has to be scratching his head. "What did I ever do to him?"
The "him" in this case is former three-term Massachusetts Democratic Gov. Michael S. Dukakis, who came out of left field Monday to accuse Romney, a Republican, of being "a lousy governor" when Romney served as chief executive for one four-year term ending in 2006.
Dukakis, politically inactive since leaving the Statehouse in 1990 after a failed bid for president against George H.W. Bush in 1988, let loose with a surprising critical barrage against Romney during a videotaped interview with the State House News Service.

I seriously doubt that Romney is losing any sleep over being attacked by Dukakis, especially with a GOP primary on the horizon.

C’mon, people, read the piece. This is a very pro-Romney piece. I seriously think good ole’ Mike played along and fell on a grenade for his Brother Mitt.
What better way to launch into a shower of praise for Mitt (which this article contains) than to lead off with a report on “stinging criticism” from Americas all time least respected politician?

Even while running for President, every one of his five sons rejects military service. Romney's father was even the anti-war, Republican candidate for President during Vietnam, while his son Mitt was avoiding the draft in Beaujolais, France.
I agree completely. This is a classic Romulan strategy. 'See, the Dems don't like me, so I must be good'. 'This proves I'm not a liberal'.
