WASHINGTON A Republican civil war is raging, with righter-than-thou conservatives dominating ever more primaries in a fight for the party's soul. And the Democrats hope to benefit.
The latest examples of conservative insurgents' clout came Tuesday at opposite ends of the country. In Florida, political newcomer Rick Scott beat longtime congressman and state Attorney General Bill McCollum for the GOP gubernatorial nomination. And in Alaska, tea party activists and Sarah Palin pushed Sen. Lisa Murkowski to the brink of defeat, depending on absentee ballot counts in her race against outsider Joe Miller.
The GOP is likely to survive its bitter intraparty battles in such states as Alaska and Utah, even if voters oust veteran senators in both. But tea party-backed candidates might be a godsend to desperate Democrats elsewhere in Nevada, Florida and perhaps Kentucky, where the Democrats portray GOP nominees as too extreme for their states.

RINOs are an endangered species.
Wishful thinking.
So a healthy primary shakeout is “civil war”, wishful thinking indeed.

When the Democrats can’t win a debate, and let’s be honest, it’s hard for a tax-and-spender to win a debate against a fiscally sensible candidate, they resort to the “extremist” label. They’re going to find that it won’t work.
They wish. Babington is the biggest liberal hack in the Capitol press gallery. You don’t need to read his stuff, because you can always guess ahead of time exactly what he is going to say about any given subject. He has been like that for 15 years. This is his feeble attempt to spin what is going on. Lame > lamer > lamest.
In spite of the fact the most left-leaning democrat ex-senator in the history of the nation currently sits in the White House.

...And if the “insurgents” lost it would’ve proved that the Tea Party had lost its mojo.
They have the templates already written. Just a matter which one they use.
If Republicans do this, it's a civil war.
If Democrats do this, they are ironing out disagreements.

The establishment doesnt like being out of control.
The Libtard Charles Babington, a member of the Statist-Controlled Associated Obama Press Corps is in the planning of a media-concocted “Civil War” that will try to bamboozle the GOP/Conservatives/Libertarians/Independents into thinking the party is in disarray when in reality, Obama is making a Hindenburg-type splash on America.

Kentucky will not go Democrap this year and Fla will go Republican by 10 points is my guess. Nevada would probably have been less close with Tarkanian, but thats about it. Not much to crow about.
Keep dreaming, that’s all they’ve got.
Kentucky is safe. Nevada should win so long as Republicans/conservatives stop being bitter and unite around Angle and she stays on message. Rubio will win Florida. The Governor’s race? Hard to say, but it’s not about Scott per se. The two Republicans there went to the gutter in their primary and that now has to be overcome. But they do start with a more energized base.
Miller if he pulls the win in the primary will win the general and so will the Utah candidate.
