President Obama, First Lady Michelle Obama, and their two daughters Sasha and Malia traveled to Nancy's Restaurant on the waterfront of the Oak Bluffs section of Martha’s Vineyard Wednesday afternoon.
Crowds gathered to watch as the president, wearing his White Sox baseball cap, noted the abundance of Red Sox caps. He and the First Lady shook hands and posed for pictures with folks in the crowd. The president ordered from the take-out window of the snack bar section of the eatery.
"I love your watch," one woman told the First Lady, referencing a purple watch on her left wrist.
"Oh, thank you,” the First Lady said. “It was a gift.”
She gestured towards her husband, who was shaking hands behind her.
"I think somebody told him,” she said.
"Where's my wife?" the president asked at one point.
Crowds shouted for her attention.
"How you guys doing?" she asked. "Drying off? Finally."

MO is just ugly. I can’t believe the MSM really thinks they can convince us that she is a beautiful, fashion icon. She just isn’t! And it’s not just the way she looks, but the way she carries and presents herself.
Those dresses are made for someone who is very slender. Michelle’s body type doesn’t work for that style. Plus, it just isn’t suitable for a First Lady.

If there was any justice in the world, “We’re Buying Shrimp, Guys. Come On.” would become to Obama what “Now watch me hit this golfball.” was to Bush. But there isn’t any justice, is there?
Oh, the ethnic diversity of it all, not to mention the cultural assimilation, the globality and the Kumbaya-ness of it all.

Yes, I noticed that. I'm sure that's why Tapper posted it - to dig Obama.
This is why I like Tapper - yep, he was a pain in the ass to Bush - saying sarcastic things, and posting unflattering stories on his blog. But, he treats Obama the exact same way, and that's really all that anyone can ask.
Tapper posted a story a few days ago - after Obama took some credit for Iraq without mentioning George Bush - that had EVERY negative statement Obama and Biden made about the surge - and there were many of them.
I don't think any other major media journalist did such a thing.
