A maverick no more, Ariz. senator fends off challenge from the right
What's to become of John McCain?
Until Nov. 4, 2008, the Arizona senator could cherish the hope that his future depended more on New Hampshire and Florida voters than on those back home. But with his loss to Barack Obama in the presidential race, McCain's Arizona electorate reclaimed its career-ending power over him.

“a MUCH bigger pain in the ass to conservatives than pest to liberals.”.....
Well said....and pushing once again for amnesty no doubt!
“What’s to become of John McCain?”
He’ll be John McCain (R-Mexico) just like before.
If I were an AZ resident, I’d vote for the dim-bulb-crat.
At least the lib will admit his idiocy.
McKennedy should join his buddy at the nearest opportunity.
Sorry, but I’ve run out of forgiveness for this piece of excrement.
I think you are right, because he will then have a GRUDGE, Vengeance, he will then do his best to make those, his enemies, us, pay for making his re-election so miserable for him.
“If I were an AZ resident, Id vote for the dim-bulb-crat.
At least the lib will admit his idiocy.”
Will you?
I am sure George Soros and Sarah Palin are happy now....
McCain is a disgusting person and the people of AZ are idiots. McCain is for amnesty and supports The Imam 110%.
Arizona Re-Public-ans deserve a collective lobotomy.
The author of McCain Feingold campaign finance “reform” spent more than $20 million to beat a conservative challenger. That is more money than he has spent in all of his other senate and congressional campaigns combined. Remember when he said he would run a “respectful” campaign against 0bama. He said “You don’t have to be ascared (sic) of Obama, he is a fine man.” He would not touch the Jeremiah Wright story, then he goes after Hayworth with a sledge hammer. I think I am goint to puke.
Ah, let's not cut off our collective noses to spite our faces.
There is a reasonable, perhaps even probable chance that the Senate will be split 49-51 with John McCain in the Senate. As big of a pain in the ass as McCain is, he's still going to caucus with and vote for the GOP should they get the majority back. McCain's defeat could EASILY mean a 50-50 tie, with Biden breaking the deadlock.
People who say - "Well, that's just fine" have NO IDEA the procedural power the Leader and Chairman have. It's worth putting up with McCain to have a GOP Leader.
McCain prevails but road ahead unclear (oh boy)
Yes, it is clear. This gigolo will turn left again. He will go back to being a socialist (commie) and will continue accepting money from Soros.
It was said here in an article on FR that a few years back he had stopped accepting Soros money. And the moon is made of cheese.
Did cross-over Democrats vote McAmnesty?
I think I read that it's NOT an open primary, but I don't know for sure.
Sarah Palin appeared here one time for a fundraising DINNER, she then went on to the Searchlight NV tea party and never looked back, according to McCain himself she WILL NOT even take HIS phone calls.
The rules were blurred in that regard for this election only — to PLEASE McCain.... you all can look back to my posts before JD even got in and see I warned that JMC OWNS the AZ GOP, the AZ Media Market and the AZ Representatives and other senator.
The new talking point is, “Regularization”.
I’d like to return to some point of regularization myself, but I think we’re talking two entirely different interpretations.
