Folks,
What are you hearing. What are the results in your area or via local media, Talk Radio, or Fox.
Interesting tidbit on Hugh Hewitt tonight.. Rich Lowry of NRO has been speaking with his deep throat "obi wan" and they have been thinking out of the box and that 2012 may have conservatives with super majorities in both houses.
Just on Fox in FLA in the primaries people voted for Rubio 2 to 1, (just like Michigan) the intensity is worry some for the Dems, Santorum noted the 2 to 1 ratio.
We call things what they are, its really slang calling a transit mixer a cement mixer, cement is just the binding agent, you have aggregate according to the mix design of large or small gravel, sand and water.
Cement is like what flour is to bread but we call it bread not flour.
And I will also think of places that are over 95 when its -45 here, touche’
And good morning!
Ah, well damn her and her campaign if they try to drag it out. Joe Miller has lead from the start. She’ll show herself a “sore loser” and the outcome won’t change unless she has poeple insdie to fool with the ballots.
Speaking for myself, I was happy to donate to him. Made me feel GOOD. He’s a man of integrity and he’ll do you all proud and everyone proud. He’s going to be the US Senator from Alaska!
Blessings!!!
zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz
LOL. Already? LOL.
Oh c’mon, get some coffee, what is happening today is the figurative “shot across the bow” to the democratic party.
With these republican upsets here and in Florida and I am still trying to see what is happening elsewhere cause my TV is down at the moment it looks like we have started the snowball downhill and the “Iced Tea Express” is coming to America.
I think its a sticky.. “Iced Tea Express”?
.....its really slang ......
I prefer to call it ignorance.
As one who has studied and extensively tested concrete mix design, calling it cement gets on my nerves
A very good morning! TO you! I am having baked Alaska for dessert some time in the very near future. In fact, I might name my next child Alaska after tonight...whenever that might be.
In fact, I might purchase an Alaskan state flag and hang it from the flagpole i shall also have to purchase since my one flagpole is currently in use.
But oh, boy! I am so proud of Alaska today!
G-d bless all of ya!
Ths. and now. . .up and ‘at em’/lol. (Checking more ‘win stats’/analysys.)
We do a lot of air entrainment for our mix designs and accelerates, some contractors use a plasticizer called glenium a water reducing agent AND a 1% calcium chloride accelerate, I guess only in Alaska eh?
As one who has been up all night watching numbers float by on seven windows, talking about nerves gets on my nerves,
I am getting a feeling and its not just because I am IN Alaska but because of who lives here and seems to be the catalyst for an awakening of a sleeping New America.
Used to be Texas had all the glory, but they are mysteriously without anyone with convictions, yet the 49th state seems to be able to supply some impetus and hopefully some momentum for the country, just because we are elsewhere doesn’t mean we don’t care.
Alaska will again take some spotlight in the news, and be a target for upset, fanatical depressed whining liberals who feel they are being cheated out of their acclaimed lofty superior positions by the “common” people.
I think you are right. Pray the left doesn’t decide to run from California to a brave new world and change yours.
Looks like 2000 votes with nine precincts out.
Hey we get refugees all the time, they usually leave about 3/4ths the way through winter around march or april.
I’m not kidding, we actually have a longer winter than summer, at least 6 months of it, and people from the warmer lower 48 just cannot cope with it, you have to be a little crazy to live up here all year round.
Whats up with that?
Congratulations (slightly premature) to all the Freepers here who supported Joe Miller, especially to the rugged Alaskans who seem to have pulled him through.
And very special congratulations to former Governor Sarah Palin who appears to have dispatched another Murkowski and replaced her with a rock-ribbed Constitutional Conservative.
After I finished blogging, I followed one Freeper’s advice and prayed, especially the Rosary, for this triumph. So the biggest shoutout, as far as I am concerned, goes to Jesus and his Mother Mary!
Further blogging on behalf of Miller will do no good, but continued prayer for the favorable resolution of the absentee ballots will. And of course, Prayers of Thanksgiving, because we are not half thankful to God enough.
Yeah, I can believe that. In Cali they don earmuffs and neckscarves when it turns 65. When it’s fifty, they wear parkas.
I remember my last vacation in january down at Universal Studios in Orlando, they had a 35 degree morning there and by the time I was in the park it was in the low 40’s and everyone had gloves, caps and parkas but our family was in shorts and tees.
Yes I am very acclimated to our weather, my ideal temperature range is 55-65 and even in the upper thirties I rarely wear any thermal underwear, but I am still human and when its -45 its still too darn cold.
I won’t venture out if it gets over 80, it WILL give me heat exhaustion, I figure it would take me about two weeks or more to get acclimated again to a warmer temp, so basically I never leave the state for a vacation that is too hot.
