Folks,
What are you hearing. What are the results in your area or via local media, Talk Radio, or Fox.
Interesting tidbit on Hugh Hewitt tonight.. Rich Lowry of NRO has been speaking with his deep throat "obi wan" and they have been thinking out of the box and that 2012 may have conservatives with super majorities in both houses.
Just on Fox in FLA in the primaries people voted for Rubio 2 to 1, (just like Michigan) the intensity is worry some for the Dems, Santorum noted the 2 to 1 ratio.
Looks like it’s Joe Miller! Woo-Hoo! You were right all along!
You try to have yourself a wonderful day in the hot ALASKA sun!
Thanks for posting to me! You’re the best, dearest Eska!
Sorry, just woke up its just after 4am, I drive a 12 yard concrete mixer in Wasilla, Alaska.
I meant, dearest EYE OF UNK!
Awww...you poor thing.
I will rememeber that when it hits 96 in the air conditioning. LOL
I agree. And I spell the same way you do, sweetpea.
That’s what happens when we conservatives hang on until the last dog dies. We don’t give up!
I had a chance to talk with Miller one-on-one and then was a volunteer for the campaign. He is an impressive guy. Smart, passionate and no-nonsense. He would do Alaska proud and anyone who values liberty, Constitutional limits on government, a secure border, right to life, etc. will find him a joy in Washington.
Of course, it is always possible I was snowed and he will be just another politician. I’m pretty comfortable with my vote though.
51.24%-48.76% Miller, 159 of 438 precincts reporting.
Stories about what went right for Miller and what went wrong for Murkowski are already starting to percolate. Murkowski’s anger toward Palin is bubbling up too.
So far, more men have voted in the Republican primary than women in all but two young age groups. Yet, Miller holds the lead. For both parties, more women are voting than men.
The count stopped at 12:30AM. It will resume in the morning. There are about 16K absentee ballots to count as well.
Something to raise the blood pressure on this thread:
RT: @matthewfelling: Lori Townsend of @APRN asked Murkowski press secretary about a potential Independent run. He said it’s too early to consider that.
As someone who volunteered for Miller, I’d be furious. I’m not sure most Alaskans would take it well either.
You’re so right. He’ll come through when he has to. They’re already talking about running Vicky Kennedy against him.
Don’t forget the 16K absentees.
I’ve been up ALL NIGHT! Forgive me for calling you, Eska...lol.
You two are the absolute best!
I was just checking.
I know you live in Alaska, and far from the north east coast where they only mix cement. :)
Number of Precincts 438
Precincts Reporting 429 97.9 %
Miller, Joe REP 45909 51.09%
Murkowski, Lisa REP 43949 48.91%
!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
You betcha!
I am not long for the awake world!
Someone posted about this earlier (much earlier!) on this thread.
She can’t do it.
The deadline was June 1, if I remember.
Scroll back and I think you’ll find it.
I understand, I drtove by the supporters at the Bailey mattress lot at Palmer-Wasilla Highway at least 3 times yesterday, traffic was miserable and I am trying to avoid other vehicles that hat a slow ming concrete mixer and I am shifting through all my gears at the same time, but I managed to honk my air horn as much as possible.
Frankly the people I think in Alaska were more quietly convinced that they knew from the start which candidate they should support, and the importance it will have upon the rest of America, its not just Alaska, its for the whole nation.
I thank all those that sent Joe a contribution and they will try to drag the count out as long as possible, they may even do the “hanging chad” bit.
When did you get your last update? It’s way past that.
Yep. My post. CAN’T do it. TOAST, well burnt.
