The Senate Armed Services Committee will hold a hearing on Defense Secretary Robert Gates’s proposal to close the Joint Forces Command based in Virginia. I have had enough of them using my tax dollars to perpetrate the myth of American excellence, especially in our military. Why should we have the best trained forces in the world. We need to get rid of these military elites and get back to the draft system, so that the sons and daughters of white people do the dyin and cryin. When has the military ever drafted women? Now that you mention it however, holding them to the same height, weight and physical fitness standards would be a good idea. As regards the ‘guns, butter, beans...’ comments, I’m not aware of what you’re referencing.

I think that Mitt Romney’s five huskey sons, along with a myriad of YR’s that I have met would support that idea entirely! The rest of us should continue to encourage the young males in our family to do something. There are opportunities to serve everywhere.

Incidently, I hope that theses same guys oppose the homosexualization of the military as vehemently as the slaying of their JFCOM job base. I’ll grant you however, Virginia Beach and Newport News are going to lose some extremely well paying government jobs if this get canned.

Bare essentials? I thought we were talking about personnel? A good measure might be that when the average male who is an NCAA College Athlete serves in some military capacity, we will once again be where we need to be.
