Actually, I kind of admire President Obama for not borrowing Bill Clinton’s Twenty-Pound Bible and heading off to Church last Sunday (after tipping off the media, of course)... At least he is consistent.

The main stream media are digging themselves further and further into the ground as far as credibility. All day today, radio and TV announcerers were pretending that the hypothesis of Obama being Muslim was just the craziest thing ever. They conveniently don’t mentiono the reasons people think this - the list is long and the cumulative logic large. Rather, they just call the hypothesis “false,” “false,” “false. Dismiss, dismiss, dismiss, in the face of much evidence. Similarly, when all those Russian spies were caught a couple of months ago, the same state media tried to make light of that, too, comparing them to the spies who couldn’t shoot straight rather than talking about the damage they did. Thank heavens for the Internet.

I do not know who Bob Schieffer is, except he is proclaiming his ignorance. A competent journalist or whatever he is, would report the facts of the matter and then discuss them instead of erroneously judging the growing number of Americans who believe that Obama is a Muslim by his actions featuring favorable disposition to Islam.
People think Obama is Muslim because ...
For one his actions support Islam. Obama supports new construction of a Mosque on Ground Zero, but does not support the rebuilding of a Christian church. He practiced Islam growing up. His father was a Muslim. He does not appear to go to church. ...and more.
Bob could have addressed why people might think that Obama is a Muslim instead to telling them what to think.

My opinion of the faithful muslim Obama had everything to do with his name, his father and his upbringing! Add the fact that he sat in a church for 20 years for which he claims he never heard anything?

Bob Schiefer thinks (incorrectly) that 1/4th of Americans believe that Barack. Hussein. Obama. is a muslim due to the internet. Of course he is wrong. Most of that 1/4th believe that Barack. Hussein. Obama. is a muslim do so because they have seen little, if any, evidence that he is anything but.
