HARRISBURG, Pa. Former Nebraska Sen. Chuck Hagel a Republican is throwing his support behind Democrat Joe Sestak in Pennsylvania's U.S. Senate race.
Hagel told The Associated Press on Monday that Sestak has demonstrated during his two terms in Congress that he puts what's best for the country before the interests of his party. He said Sestak's courage and integrity as a legislator are qualities the nation needs more of.
He refused to comment on the candidacy of Sestak's opponent, Republican Pat Toomey, a former congressman.
The men are seeking the seat long held by Sen. Arlen Specter, a Republican-turned-Democrat whom Sestak beat in the primary.

All pretenses are gone now. We already knew Hagel was a self-promoting RINO who was far worse than McCain, but he has now taken the step to endorse a cap and trade supporting, ObamaCare supporting, tax raising, big government left-wing Democrat over a principled conservative in Pat Toomey. The media and the political/ruling class will treat this as a "game changing event" when in reality it won't matter a hill of beans to the voting public in Penn.
GOOD F'ING RIDDENCE CHUCK!!

I’m so glad we’re rid of him.

Ruling class Hagel is supporting ruling class Sestak.
Where is the surprise?
Yes, sure, yes, it makes me furious. But I’m not surprised.
Angelo Codevilla was an optimist.

Hagel likes Sestak because Sestak is anti-Israel.

This is too funny!
Hagel’s endorsement means absolutely nothing in PA. The only thing this proves is that there is an element within the Republican Party which is deceptive and dangerous (just like the Left) to our Country.

it won't matter a hill of beans to the voting public in Penn It seems to me that, in such a vote-the-bums-out mood as the nation is in at the moment, the "endorsement" of an "insider" such as Hagel is at best, neutral, and at worst, a negative for the one being endorsed.
Kind of like Tammy Faye Bakker endorsing Revlon, or Michael Moore endorsing Weight-Watchers.

Is that SOB F’in crazy???
I don’t see how turdballs like Hagel can take Rep $’s and then bite the hand that fed ‘em. These people need to be purged from the Rep party if that party is to have any legitimacy amongst the base.
