It’s a first for first ladies: Michelle Obama and Laura Bush will appear together next month on the 9th anniversary of the Sept. 11 attacks in Shanksville, Pa., where United flight 93 went down after the crew and passengers fought back against terrorists.
Administration officials said the event will build on Michelle Obama's focus on the heroes of Sept. 11 — celebrating their heroism, honoring their memories and supporting their families.

One thing about MO that puts her in a class of hateful anti-americans all to herself—she is without peer in being butt ugly, but that is not why she is so despicable. She is despicable for her racist ingratitude for her station in life. For Laura Bush to associate with her is no different than for LB to associate with the leaders of the black panthers.

Makes one wonder who the “heros” are that MO will be celebrating.
Honoring the memory of the tragedy of 9/11 and the deaths of thousands at the hands of Islamic Jihadists has never, ever been significant to either Obama. This is simply a PR move to get her husband out of the doldrums.
I really hope Laura and Moochelle can keep it non-political.
Laura Bush was already scheduled and then today Big Mo announced that she was going to appear, too. Bet Bambi’s political advisors were working overtime on that one.
Actually, I downloaded Laura Bush’s book on my Sony, and I thoroughly enjoyed reading it. The most interesting part, to me, was what went on in the WH when the towers were bombed, but I also found interesting all of the descriptions of of the rooms in the WH and the history of some of the artifacts there.
Say what you want, but Laura Bush is a classy lady.
Truth is the event with Laura Bush as keynote speaker was planned & announced months ago.
Bush in the dictionary means lacking judgement.

Beck is right on on most issues.
If you think a PROGRESSIVE is somebody who opposed sweatshops for juveniles, supported inspection of the meat and food industry, supported a strong military, stood up for the rights of Americans overseas, and wanted America to take its rightful place among the nations of the world, TR was guilty.
TR was a zoologist, a multi-linguist, a cowboy, a martial arts student, a big-game hunter, a conservationist, a patriot, a lawman, an author, a military expert, a stateman, a veteran, a war hero, and more things like Beck could ever imagine.
More than that he was a Great American. He WAS a “force of nature”.
MORE Presidents should be like him instead of myopic, introspective, uneducated boobs and historical ignoramuses.
Don’t link him in there with people like Wilson, FDR, etc.

Attending this is the classy thing to do for Classy Laura who of course must remain classy and upbeat like being pro-choice and anti-coathanger etc. The syncophant Bushies will bow down and praise her no matter who Classy hangs with.

What is it with politicians always manipulating things?. 9/11 was a tragic event. The Bushes just as the older Bushes are fools to fall for this.
