The White House was forced yesterday to reaffirm President Obama's Christian faith after shocking polls found that 1 out of every 4 or 5 Americans falsely believe he's a Muslim -- a considerable increase from last year.
"The president is obviously a Christian. He prays every day," White House spokesman Bill Burton told reporters.
"He communicates with his religious adviser every single day. There's a group of pastors that he takes counsel from on a regular basis. And his faith is very important to him, but it's not something that is a topic of conversation every single day."
A separate White House statement stressed that Obama's "strong Christian faith is what guides him" in facing the nation's challenges. "But he doesn't wear it on his sleeve," the press office added.
The president's flacks also complained that Obama's faith is "often maligned and distorted by critics."

I listened to Rush today and he was blasting the TV media as well and did not say “with the exception of Fox News.”
Rupert Murdoch and Bloomberg are alike. They want access to middle eastern sat TV for murdoch and bloomberg wants access to middles eastern money and to help develop islamic finaancial markets.
Rush mentioned that Rev. Wright had “been” a muslim. He is also pals with Farrakhan. My bet is his “church” was financial supported with Islamic money.
His daughters seemingly are being raised with no religion.

Mr. Obama....do you want to silence the people who say you’re not a Christian, once and for all? Okay, here’s what you do, fella:
1) Go on national television, get down on your knees, and publicly ask Jesus Christ into your heart to be Lord and Savior. Once that is done, publicly renounce ANY faith or religious belief that you may have held.
2) Get yourself a new spiritual advisor. I recommend someone like Josh McDowell, Louie Giglio, or any good Christian that believes the Bible is the infallible Word of God.
3) Go on national television and publicly declare that the United States is, from that moment forward a friend, ally, and defender of the State of Israel. State that ANY attack against her will be met with nuclear response against the city of Mecca.
If you do not wish to do these things, then the best way to silence your critics is to remove their reason for criticisms...in other words, resign the Presidency instantly. That way, they won’t have any reason to say there’s a muslim in the White House, because YOU won’t BE there. Then you, your Bigfoot wife, and your daughters (whom I pray come to the Cross of Christ before it’s too late) can retire to someplace warm (like your home country of Kenya) and remain there until you die and are firmly ensconced in a white-hot Hell reserved for the devil and his angels...and all those who reject Jesus Christ as the living and Holy Son of God....like YOU.
If he says that, in a believable way, I'd start believing in his Christianity. Until then, he's the Muslim-In-Chief.

I disagree with your comments. All Obama has to do is show his birth certificate (which he might be hiding because it says he is a Muslim), state he is a Christian, support Christmas and the rebuilding of the Christian church damaged on 9/11 (and not the Muslim “cultural center”). Nothing more. He needs not make a big production of it or he would be seen as “protesting too much.”

his decisions and “ways” are that of a muslim. I have not seen any Christian trait in this person... ever.... and it is impossible to be a Christian without it ever showing... just as I imagine it would be impossible to be a muslim without it showing... and for the obamanation, it does.

My household proclaims that our dog, Buhangin, is a Christian, that she prays every day, and that she is aghast at the number of people who say otherwise.
We also proclaim that she was born at Queens Hospital in Honolulu, that she is a Constitutional scholar, and that she is not a Socialist, as proven by her unwillingness to share her food.
