It is definitely Obowma’s Shark-jump and Refrigerator-nuke rolled into one.

You omitted the basement for storage of WMD’s and laundered money.

I was just watching Inside Addition and they were saying a young man who was on a realty show is who picked the site for the Ground Zero Mosque.
He was on the reality show about inventions. He has invented a special bycycle. The developer of the Mosque saw him and asked him to use his bike and scout out a place to build the Mosque. He biked all over and finally came to the Ground Zero building.
The young man is keeping a low profile.

Moose are supposedly total nondrinkers, but why not push the meme on the Bummer anyhow?

“The cat is out of the bag”?
The cat is totally out of the bag. I mean, the cat has been out of the bag so long that if you asked the cat about the bag, the cat would be like, “Oh, the BAG? That was forever ago.” And then the cat would roll its eyes and go back to being out of the bag.

If these folks really wanted a cultural outreach center or something like this, why does a mosque need to even be part of it. Isnt there already a mosque within walking distance of the original proposed spot? Or why not build it as an annex to a mosque they already have. It's a nod..nod..wink..wink.. making a point and drawing a line in the sand, THAT'S why!
Divide and conquer is in our future and we are going to be on the receiving end sadly enough me thinks.

Exactly, what’s up with appeasing them by giving government land? Playing the victim card here is not going to work, because they are not victims.

Similar to what I said to my wife upon reading the excerpt accredited to that idiot as source.

A mosque (or prayer room or whatever they want to call it) in a “cultural outreach center” doesn’t seem to make a lot of sense anyhow, because an “infidel” wouldn’t be able to go inside it to visit, unlike the rest of the building.

Any compromise is a win for the Muslimes.
A counter attack is needed.
Wherever this abomonation is planned, massive amounts of pig manure must be dumped!
In fact, it wouldn’t be a bad idea to spread pig entrails across every mosque doorstep from here to Mecca.
Let’s start raising money to fund the construction of churches next to every mosque in Saudi Arabia!
Let’s show the world just how tolerant Islam really is!

I do not know one person, liberals included, who are in favor of this, and I've spoken to a lot of people.
This is absolutely a spit in the face to the US.

You're welcome. I guess someone had to fill the rectal void that Phil Donahue left. Nature abhors a vacuum.
"But know this, that in the last days perilous times will come: for men will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, unloving, unforgiving, slanderers, without self-control, brutal, despisers of good, traitors, headstrong, haughty, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God, having a form of godliness but denying its power. And from such people turn away, for his name is Obama."

Let’s publicly petition Saudi Arabia to let an American group put up a “Christian outreach center” there, if not in Mecca, at least as close as possible to it. In a serious attempt to make it ecumenical, say we’d call it the “C. S. Lewis center.”

Agreed. If it’s within walking distance,it’s too close.I don’t want Muslims doing victory laps on the graves of 3000 dead Americans.

Exactly. You can’t shut the barn door after the cat has flown out of the tube.
To: Justaham
You know, if this compromise doesn’t work out, I don’t see why the state of NY couldn’t pass a law designating a certain number of blocks from Ground Zero and “sacred ground” or a landmark or whatever and not allowing ANY religious buildings of any kind to be built there.
I know it may get challenged in court, but if the law applied equally to all religions, it should survive a challenge.
I’m not a constitutional lawyer and I’m not familiar with local NY laws, but tell me what I’m missing here. Why couldn’t this be done?
And if the Dems refused to pass the law, Repubs can beat them up over it until election day.
