If these folks really wanted a cultural outreach center or something like this, why does a mosque need to even be part of it. Isnt there already a mosque within walking distance of the original proposed spot? Or why not build it as an annex to a mosque they already have. It's a nod..nod..wink..wink.. making a point and drawing a line in the sand, THAT'S why!
Divide and conquer is in our future and we are going to be on the receiving end sadly enough me thinks.

A mosque (or prayer room or whatever they want to call it) in a “cultural outreach center” doesn’t seem to make a lot of sense anyhow, because an “infidel” wouldn’t be able to go inside it to visit, unlike the rest of the building.
