When a new family moved into the mansion on South Goddard Road in south DeKalb County, residents just assumed they were city folks too busy to meet neighbors.(snip) The only time Goddard saw her next-door neighbors was when they were being led off in handcuffs.
Prosecutors say the $1 million brick home next to the Goddards farmhouse is one of at least 19 properties that have been taken over by a sect of anti-government extremists involved in criminal behavior.

Muslims?
While this is a pretty slimy way to operate, I equally take umbrage to labeling just any old criminal activity ‘terrorist’. That opens all kinds of doors that we don’t want to be going through.
The Tea Party is a bunch of squatters? Who knew? Thanks, AJC!
“The Nuwaubians originated as a Black Muslim group in New York in the 1970s, and have gone through many changes since”
Bingo...you win a cookie..
Not a “sect of anti-government extremists” or “paper terrorists”, they are just folks getting their stash from Obama. They didn’t want to wait for the 30,000 people on East Point’s section 8 waiting list to clear.
I don’t know if this is related, but in the central Florida, squatters are living in 5,000 square foot homes. One of the squatters registered the location as a daycare center...and the state accepted the application. See links for two different recent incidents:

In other words, Obama’s community organizers.
This was a growing problem in Vegas as well. With literally thousands of homes empty and up for sale it was pretty easy for a family to move in and never be caught by a realtor.
The reporter goes through contortions to give the impression that this is a group of radical-right white Tea Partiers, rather than an Islamic-based black supremacist cult.

Thanks Crim.
Neither of your assertions are supported in the story.
"The FBI says the national movement has been around for decades and has ties to the Nuwaubians, a black supremacist group that started near Augusta. Nationally, sovereign citizens, which originated as a white supremacist group, have been connected to multiple insurance fraud and tax evasion scams, along with some violent crimes."
