GROUND ZERO MOSQUE: THE REAL ISSUE

The proposed mosque near to ground zero is not really a religious institution. It would be -- as many mosques throughout the nation are -- a terrorist recruitment, indoctrination and training center. It is not the worship of Islam that is the problem. It is the efforts to advance Sharia Law with its requirement of Jihad and violence that is the nub of the issue.

There is a global effort to advance Sharia Law and make it the legal system of the world. Most major banks and financial institutions offer Sharia Compliant Funds which have their investments vetted by the most fundamentalist and reactionary of clerics to assure that they advance Sharia Law. Imam Feisal Abdul Rauf, the founder of the proposed Mosque, helps to prepare a Sharia Index which rates countries on their degree of compliance with Sharia Law. In the United Kingdom, many courts have recognized Sharia as the governing law on matters between two Muslims.

Once again we are having the focus be on freedom of religion, when that is not the issue as this article states.

To welcome a Mosque here is permitting the Islamic World to see Victory over the great satan. No matter how they cloak it, that is what the Algerian TV is already saying.

To incrementally allow Sharia to gain a foothold here is 100% against our US Constitution.

How are we going to delay the take over of the Islamics when they are having 10 children per wife and a Muslim can have 4 wives and then divorce and get new ones? Crazy They will over flood America: where American families are having (mostly) one child. Mexicans are having 3-4-5, children on average.

We are on very dangerous ground here. Once we continue to allow hundreds of Mosques (there are Mosques in every state and schools too).

Their religion is for world conquest and there is only their god, and sharia law.

DEHUMANIZING TRADITIONAL AMERICA, THE OBAMA GOAL

That makes no difference to the national socialist elite in power, they want to cow America with their Utopia. The former needless genocidal 9/11 sacrifice of 3800 innocent lives is trumped by “ minority rights.” This is just the beginning if Obama and his national socialist junta is allowed to stay in power. People in general should make no mistake about it.

The dehumanization of the 9/11 victims is the goal Obama has.Once this is accomplished, the sky is the limit for this sort of thing.He means to define who is humanand who is not. And then we are to watch silently as Obama’s plan to isolate and disempower middle America socially , politically and economically accelerates. Dehumanization of sectors of society is a major fascist technique. So far he has dehumanized many, including the Fort Hood shooting victims, as the sanctity of Muslims is preserved in our military over the necessity for American justice and the future protection of our military personell.

On a parallel matter, Obama is redistricting America as we speak, using the 2010 census. The defining parameters will be to cloister racial and ethnic minorites into their own Congressional constituncies. Subsequently the plan is to pit that block of racial and ethnic minority voters against the rest of America. The “ minority rights” aspect of this mosque argument will then be applied to budgeting. Special federal programs to provide “historical justice “ for the so called ‘exploited” will be put in place. Using fannie / freddie for affirmative action lending nearly destroyed our nation and the world economy, and now Obama wants to remake Fannie /Freddie? You can imagine the image in which he will remake these bogus institutions, even Barney Frank is bailing.

There is a very large comprehensive plan, and the mosque right now is the icon on a much larger political battle front. America is kept ignorant of this larger battle. The Obama Utopia is a cultural mosaic, not a melting pot, and he is quietly going about this redefinition of America which will now be rammed down our throats , using his executive powers, the Supreme Court, and a cowed Congress.

Obama will not unite America, he intends to divide it and conquer it, and will use force to do so if he thinks it necessary.Thats why he manifests a burgeoning Secret Service personal security plan which now freezes our municipalities as he travels about our nation.Its a message, part of his campaign to cow America into submission.

This mosque must not be built, if it is, it will likely be destroyed. As Rush Limbaugh says, can one imagine building a Shinto Temple adjacent to the USS Arizona at Pearl Harbor, 10 years after it happened there?

Their 2008 IRS 990 that nonprofits must submit show income of ZERO! NADA! NOTHING! Total expenses were $2,767.00 and their net assets were $18,255.00. $1,965.00 was spent on travel.

Rauf, Bennett and Kahn were the only directors. The books, etc. were handled by the same people.

Some Freepers may know me for my past posts regarding nonprofits. There are WAY too many nonprofits in America and the nonprofit corporation laws have been substantially abused in this county. Way too many nonprofits are in business to enrich their handlers, push a particular political or social view or to outright compete against real corporations who make money and pay taxes.

This groups "exempt purpose", the reason they say they should not pay taxes is:

For the Cordoba Initiative, 2008 was a planning and fundraising year that laid the groundwork for a major 2009 symposium entitled "Women's leadership and activism in the Muslim worls". Shirin Ebadi,the Iranian woman who won the nobel peace prize, will be giving the keynote address; and the symposium will include a variety of other progressive mMuslim women who are working for human rights, respect for the dignity of women, and improved relations between the Muslim world and the West. The symposium will take place at Naropa University in Boulder, Colorado. In addition, the Cordoba Initiatives 2008 work will also include preparations for a 2009 scholarly study of how "Shariah" (Islamic Jurisprudence) supports core vsalues of Democracy, Human Rights and the rule of law."

Over the years I've read over 100 IRS 990's. As far as I can tell this outfit up until 24 months ago did not have the money in hand to buy a new Ford F150, much less any kind of real estate. And there was no way they had the money to build an outhouse, much less something in New York city.

There is NO WAY that these people have raised as much money as they will need to do this project unless they have a substantial donor or government money incoming. Something is way off here. Way off! Where is the money coming from? The Saudis? Or is it us? Recently it has been said that the Obama administration has been using US taxpayer money to rebuild or build mosques in other countries. Has that money or other taxpayer dollars been sent abroad then funneled back in to this "project".

Religious Liberty Rightly Appreciated

The current news cycle contains two issues, which allow one a proper understanding of religious freedom in this country. Concerning the mosque at ground zero, New York City seeks to execute a human definition of tolerance by transforming a civic responsibility into a religious freedom issue. Deliberations over Proposition 8 also veer off into the restless human concept of social justice, thereby ignoring the central issue of religious freedom.

The mosque debates are being carefully drawn by the press and politicians into a false dichotomy of 1) yes, it is their right or 2) no, they don’t have the right. Obviously it isn’t that simple, because our country has already decided religious freedom functions within the reasonable pursuits of this country.

Is it reasonable to suggest a Christian organization can purchase any piece of downtown property it likes and build a church on the spot? Whether or not you think that is reasonable, it is clearly unreasonable considering today’s zoning realities. Across America governments exercise their powers (rightly or not) to enforce land use policies that do or do not allow things like the construction of churches in certain places. The Manhattan property clearly functions in its highest and best use as a commercial skyscraper. In order to remain consistent, New York has every right to deny a building permit for this mosque. The Muslims have every right to build their church... but they have no more right to that location next to the Twin Towers than any other religious group does to build in the same spot.

This is a case of liberal politicians perpetrating intentional controversy, to avoid a clear civic duty. They would love to see the “right” lodge a complaint against the establishment of a mosque, so that the court system and the press can beat them senseless for a first amendment violation. All the while it is perfectly reasonable and universally understood that the city, could at anytime, deny the permits and end the discussions.

In contrast the repeal of Prop 8 represents not a fabrication of, but repression of core religious beliefs. Indeed Jewish, Christian, and Muslim believers find their Constitutionally guaranteed freedom of religion threatened by overturning Prop 8. For many followers of the desert religions homosexual behavior is unacceptable. Instead it resides among the myriad sins entrapping humanity that lives in a fallen world with a fallen nature.

For them foundational scholarship concludes homosexual relationships separate believers from God. The Old Testament, holy to “People of the Book”, speaks of the character, identity, and purpose of God in a manner, which continuously addresses homosexuality. God is spoken of as masculine, and all humans become feminine in relation to Him. In addition to creating all things, God created the single institution of heterosexual marriage as the earthy manifestation of the relationship of absolute unity and love He seeks with each person.

Classical Semitic theology emphasizes searching for and identifying with God in the spiritual dimension. In order to be “good” actions and thoughts must reinforce the faith commitment to relationship. Therefore, when believers enter into heterosexual marriage here on Earth there is not a more profound affirmation and acceptance by faith by humans of God’s promise of eternal relationship. All other forms of sexual union must be considered a rejection of God’s promise and hope for relationship with Him. For tens of millions of Jewish, Christian, and Muslim believers any subsequent reasoning from scriptures must proceed from that basic understanding. Therefore, instituting gay marriage, when believers reject homosexuality, means placing these people outside the Constitutional boundaries guaranteeing religious freedom.

The words of Jesus in Matthew are appropriate here when He says render unto Caesar the things that are Caesars; and to God the things that are God’s. Zoning laws allow governments to make reasonable decisions allowing the functioning of society, while guaranteeing religious freedom. Governments can also make reasonable laws guaranteeing functional utility for civil unions, without contravening religious freedom.
