Today on Uncommon Knowledge, Thomas Sowell, author of Dismantling America. You’ve heard that this year’s midterm elections will prove unusually important. But you’ve never heard it put quite like this.
The 2010 elections are one of the most, if not the most, important elections we’ve ever held. Because if Obama doesn’t get stopped in this fall’s election, I don’t know how he’ll ever be stopped. For one thing, people talk about his falling poll numbers. He’s still in the 40% range. If he can somehow make millions of illegal immigrants legal voters before 2012, he can win a second term. That would be the point of no return. The November elections are like the battle of Poitiers or the seige of Vienna. If those battles had gone a different way, the entire history of the world would have been different. In the November elections, this country will be at stake.
That one statement says it all. The question needs to be asked of Obama.....Is he a patriot, as was George Washington, or is he a dictator?” One of the two, there’s no inbetween.
Yep, and I believe we all know the answer.

IIRC, Peter Robinson was a speechwriter for President Ronald Reagan.
He wrote a book about how Reagan changed his life.
I heard Robinson on a radio interview about how Reagan sent his
“Mr. Gorbachev, TEAR DOWN THIS WALL” speech, only to have the draft sent to
the State Department with notes that basically said “Mr. President,
you can’t say that!”
After a few more exchanges with The State Department, Reagan ignored
their counsel and made one of the most exciting speeched in history.
I read some time ago about President Reagan ignoring the State Department and going ahead with the TEAR DOWN THIS WALL speech but didn’t realize Peter Robinson was a speechwriter for him, I should pay more attention. :)

I’m taking it one day at a time, and remaining cautiously optimistic about the outcome of the 2010 elections. I shudder to think what will happen if somehow the libs win or steal this election.

Americans HAVE to know the importance of this coming November. We cannot do enough I believe to get the message out that this is the most important election day, and the Dems, and RINO’s have to go. We have to win.
