There's just no convincing some people.
Nearly one in five people —18% — wrongly believe President Barack Obama is a Muslim, according to a poll released on Thursday.
The number is up from the 11% who thought Obama was a Muslim in March 2009. The percentage who correctly believe the president is Christian is down to 34%.
The largest share of those polled— 43% — said they weren't sure what the president's religion is, up from the 34% who said they didn't know early last year.

He is a liberal, a liberal with very strong Marxist tendencies. Liberals eschew religion and the restraints imposed. The whole reason for being liberal is to escape the bonds of religion, to reorder society outside the constricting maxims and dogma of organized religion, be it Christianity or Islam.
He has apparently received education in Islamic and Christian schools and has rejected all of both. He can probably quote some from both the Koran and the Bible but will do so only to win and argument or to cast aspersions
