I’ll go out on a limb here and venture that she won’t be missed.
Well I hope she keeps publishing. Or signs a contract with another network. I love her advice.
How this is just... She was discussing the n-word, and said it, and talked about how blacks use it all the time, IIRC.
She’s on a low frequency radio station here in Atlanta. She made a big mistake when she left WSB for WGST around 2000 I believe. She’s OK if you care about issues with mother-in-laws etc....
She has made hers and doesn’t have to take any abuse from anyone if she doesn’t want to.
Good for her, speaking truth to the commissariat.
Stopped listening to her back in 2002 when she actually said that she supported the idea of parents arranging marriages for their kids. I almost did a spit-take!
That, and her incessant bragging about her son.
Other than her belief that men should be economic slaves and her hypocrisy regarding telling your spouse whether you’ve had an affair, I didn’t mind her show even though it’s not my thing.
20 years ago, she did a local radio talk show in California, same format but she was much less conservative. She was on the same station as Rush so I would frequently hear part of her radio show.
Unfortunately one day my neighbor called discussing in detail her love life, her husband, her (bisexual) stripper boyfriend/babysitter and other things that made me feel very uncomfortable. She was a VERY friendly neighbor, thanks to Dr. Laura, I knew to stay well clear.
Dr Laura is losing it. Is she mentally depressed?
It’s hard to believe this is the same tough cookie who slept her way into talk radio, and then had a great success with her hard-nosed “do as I say, not as I do” advice.
