People who push the birth issue are being distracted from the “real” necessary work of electing conservatives, and securing enough statehouses and legislatures to control re-districting. Harping on the birth certificate is in effect an in-kind contribution to Obama, Organizing for America, the DNC, Moveon.org, and a host of other leftist/socialist organizations.

That’s just FYI.

Why not focus on them both, with electing conservatives taking precedence? I think his right to be president is too important to be ignored. Especially since there's obviously something fishy about his claim to Hawaiian birth.

Who says we’re distracted from those other important issues? Why can’t we do both?

IMO, the birth issue, and ultimately, Obama’s eligibility to hold the highest office of the US, IS and SHOULD be suspect...there are too many things being hidden and unanswered.

If in fact this traitor is NOT a “NATURAL BORN” citizen, wouldn’t that in effect make EVERY single thing he has signed, null and void? Wouldn’t that in essence, take apart the fundamental transformation, he has so quickly and unconstitutionally, put in place?

Do you not think it’s a valid concern? Don’t you think it’s important to at least verify the validity, as they did with John McCain, because IMO, if he can get through the system, and not have to prove anything, then anyone can. So if he is eligible, who’s to say someone in the future won’t be?

Nonsense.

It’s not just a BC, it’s his nationality both at birth and any subsequent changes, his parenthood, and the entire facade of his faux life history.

If he’s ineligible, then our Constitution and rule of law is under attack, and you can say it means nothing? Nothing?

This issue is about the rule of law. I agree that we need to get conservatives elected. But if every level of government, media, and law enforcement is as lawless as I have found them to be on this issue, it won’t even matter what laws are made - because they are broken constantly and with impunity.

Before you think this is just a piddly “nuisance” issue, please get acquainted with some facts. There’s a summary at http://butterdezillion.wordpress.com/2010/08/09/the-summary-cnn-doesnt-want-you-to-see/ which links to a post which explains why this is not just a distraction and another which gives the evidence and documentation.

The media is able to ridicule this issue rather than report accurately because some “conservatives” want to back off on it. Do you want to back off on border control? On repealing the unconsitutional healthcare takeover? Net neutrality? All that stuff is critical because it’s about the rule of law - just as this is about the rule of law. But all the other violations of our Constitution were allowed to happen because of this one. This is the root from whence came all the other stuff.

We can prune branches one at a time, or we can kill all the branches by taking out the tap root.

My money is on taking out the tap root.

"Harping on the birth certificate is in effect an in-kind contribution to Obama, Organizing for America, the DNC, Moveon.org, and a host of other leftist/socialist organizations."supporting Article II, Section 1 of the United States Constitution."

There, fixed it.

But who cares right - and we're freaks right? Say listen, I'm very involved in local politics and we're elected tons of good Conservatives in my LD, and I'm still supporting the USC on this and many other issues. And I pick my spots when talking about this issue (am not obsessing about it.) The fact is: RATS don't give a CRAP about the USC as the governing legal document of our nation, and their legal support wants to shred it up in favor of a 'living document' intepretation. Do you really want that? This issue is in play because this nation does not care enough about the USC - and my blame for this rests squarely on the RATS, but also with those that don't realize that BO's NBC status is a USC/SCOTUS integrity issue. If we let them peck away at the USC, it will be shredded in due order. No, this is not some esoteric, fringe, wacko issue. The RATS have always painted it this way, and you seem to be concerned about their thoughts on the matter more than, perhaps, those of us who have been fighting for full disclosure and Constitutional integrity? Perhaps the RATS will join us, as they see increasingly what a failure BO is - but I doubt it. So my point here is with your response.

With all due respect, unless you're willing to discuss how to support the USC on this point, please do not preach to us about whether you think the way we support the United States Constitution does not line up with your political strategems.

Thank you.

Maybe, but it works both ways. Politico wasted resources chasing down the non-story that the Obama Administration issued Obama a passport. They could have spent those resources writing another fawning puff piece that might have done the man some good.
