Former White House communications director director Anita Dunn on Tuesday launched a furious attack against Republicans who have criticized President Obama’s remarks on the Ground Zero mosque, labeling the GOP as the party of intolerance.
“The Republican party as solidifying its reputation for intolerance in this year, for almost any kind of difference in American society, is going down a very dangerous long term road,” Dunn said on MSNBC’s “Morning Joe.”
“They might see some short term things although I think the American people are better than that,” she said.
Coming from Dunn — who is no longer works for the Obama administration but still goes to the White House for regular message meetings — the attacks on the GOP could be viewed as having been coordinated with top advisers to the president such as David Axelrod and Dan Pfeiffer, her former deputy who now runs Obama’s communications shop.
But when asked by e-mail, Dunn told the Daily Caller that Axelrod and Pfeiffer “did not know, approve, or suggest” her comments, which she said were her “own personal opinions.”
Numerous times, Dunn sought to characterize the debate over the mosque as one which pits those who want to preserve religious freedom against a Republican party which she said is “labeling all Muslims in this country as terrorists.”

You better believe we are. Plus, we are smarter than that too. We are sick to death of liberal pond scum like Dunn. And, we are also growing weary of tolerating people who want to kill us, and to rule over us. The same people who would stone Dunn were she in their world under their rule. The same kind of world they seek to create in America.
I wonder how tolerant the liberals would be of Baptists blowing up abortion clinics, then building a church on the site.
It still astounds me that when Diane Sawyer or Hillary Clinton or any uber liberal American woman goes to a Muslim country, how they defer to the customs and cover themselves from head to toe. Yet in the USA, they refuse to bow to anything that would be considered paternalistic or Christian in any shape or form. They rage against anyone they think will take women back to the “dark ages”, yet say nothing of or for the women actually living in the dark ages of Muslim nations.
Anita, tolerance must be a two way street and with most Muslims, it is not. Religions that have behavior which is destructive are not to be allowed this behavior. The simplistic example is religious human sacrifice need not be allowed. Permitting religious expression is not a national suicide pact or surrender to tyranny.
That’s a pretty ugly lizard.
The one on the right is no beauty queen, either.

I do not consider tolerance a good thing. e.g. the most religiously intolerant man to every walk the face of the earth was Jesus.

Yeah, I thought she’d be pretty offended by it, but I positioned her to the right of the ugly one anyway.
Unfortunately where I live and my hobby subject me to many liberals. You are free to not have friends with differing views from yours, I am not bothered by that. However, if we ever hope to change anyone’s mind we will do better with people who consider us friends. You may not be a person made for outreach. That’s ok. You do what you’re good at. :)
