ST. PAUL — With bruising campaign ads already looping on Minnesota TV, Democratic nominee Mark Dayton urged a "cease-fire" Thursday on independently run attack ads in the Minnesota governor's race.

Two days after winning his party's nod, Dayton said he wants to keep the race with Republican Tom Emmer and the Independence Party's Tom Horner from falling into the "political sewer."

Not sure if I did this right.... we'll see. Since the title is Dayton calls for attack ad 'cease-fire' it does sound like chicken little doesn't want to duke it out.

ANYONE running on the "D" ticket deserves EVERY VICIOUS ATTACK AD possible.

This party is an "EVIL" party, run by people that want to destroy this country (see - Senate, and House, and President this year)!

Anyone STUPID enough to run on the "D" party label deserves to be VOTED OUT or NOT ELECTED! PERIOD! - until such time that common sense, and patriotic beliefs begin to dominate in that party.

Only after you call off your SEIU thugs who have been harassing the Chicago Target that donated to a cause that donated to your opponent.

The only time that they ask for a ‘cease fire’ is when they are equally matched and someone is pushing back against their bs. Any other time they are willing to dive into the political sewer by lying, cheating etc.

Chicken Little will promise not to make attack ads. He will just have his surrogates do it for him.

Martk Critz (Murtha's successor) did the same thing in Pennsylvania's special election. He was caught lying about his opponent's supposed desire to raise sales taxes on everything including food and clothing because he had once discussed the FAIR tax with a Libertarian group.

He was caught in the lie and forced to apologize and withdraw the ads.

Less than 48 hours later, almost identical ads were being aired by AFSCME, one of his surrogate union groups.

You mean the party that called for recount after recount in a recent Senatorial election until they got the numbers they wanted?

The party that demanded no investigation as to how their numbers kept going up after every recount?

The party whose winning numbers had fraudulent votes that didn't show up until after the newly “elected” senator was installed?

The same party that has repeatedly run adds saying the Republicans want to take away our social security? How a single party can change federal law in secret is beyond me (oh, yes just get a LIBERAL (aka democratic) bureaucrat to make an administrative change on his own).

That party?

When a democrat begs for mercy, you know you’re doing it the right way.

I remember seeing this lamebrain Dayton on Cspan and it was so obvious that his Target money bought the Senate seat for him, sure wasn't his intellect. One reason I stay away from Target.

On the other hand, this dupe will fit right in as Minn Gov., for some reason Minnesotans like cartoon characters in high political office.

Minnesota politics is a good topic for that late, great Minnesota institution,

Inmates running the asylum, to say the least.

Exactly, he must be losing. Time to insert the knife and give it a twist.
