Last week on the White House's YouTube channel, they answered a question from the mailbag and showed this:
Date of Birth: 04 Aug 1961
Place of Birth: Hawaii, U.S.A.
So what do you expect the conspiratorial response to this will be? That it's a fake passport? That the U.S. Passport office is in on the conspiracy? That YouTube videos aren't admissible in court, and thus this should simply be ignored and not acknowledged as evidence at all? That there's not an uninterrupted shot of the trip advisor unlocking the safe, taking out the folder, and pulling out and opening the passport, and thus they aren't convinced that the passport seen was actually in the folder?
Or maybe just a mix of all of the above, plus whatever other special pleading they can think of.
According to the State Department, 52-page passports are issued to regular people "who travel frequently or extensively." I imagine they probably use the same longer format for diplomatic and official passports.
A bc was, indeed, required to get a passport back in the old days when I got mine.
My post should have said “I can’t understand” ...
My diabetic eyes are getting real bad ...
Sorry
it says he is president of the united states-see video
The latest tabulation of co-conspirators includes:
All of the Republican Party
All House members (and staff)
All Senators (and staff)
All Judges (and their clerks)
All Lawyers (except for a few “heroes”)
All Hawaiian government officials
All Networks, including Fox
All Talk Radio (except when Rush makes a birther joke)
However...with the help of Orly Taitz, Andy Martin, Philip Berg, Inspector Smith, Ron Polarik, Reverend Manning, the American Grand Jury, World Net Daily, The Post & Email and others, it's "gaining credibility".
Dems are handing us a beautifully gift wrapped present. They are alienating large voting blocks by continuing to ram through an extremely unpopular liberal agenda. So many of their core beliefs are being rejected and scorned. They are, as a party, destroying the economy. And yet, there are some who want to substitute largely unfounded conspiracy theories for a solid, enduring philosophical victory. Stunning!
LOL. Gee, I didn't realize Obama was Puerto Rican./sarcasm
Birther illogic never ceases to amaze me.
The passport lists his birthplace. Given that his parents weren't diplomats or invaders, that is sufficient to prove his natural born status that is not on his passport.
Where is his long-form B/C?
Why do you care? There is no additional information on his long-form BC necessary to prove his natural born status.
No, there’s just the kind of information that would indicate whether Obama’s birth was filed honestly and originally listed Hawaii as the birthplace.
Not amendment; endorsement. At the two minute mark in the video, you can see that page 51 says "The Bearer is the President of the United States."
Yes, once you can get an American passport, you know longer have to submit any birth certificate documents — you just keep getting your passport renewed over and over.
Therefore, it would be very very interesting, to see what his earlier passports looked like and when the first one was issued.
if he was calling himself Barry while he was at Occidental College does this mean his name was Barry Soetoro at Occidental?
OK, I accept that. But I still ask what kind of amendment is on page 51?
And again, why not just release the original birth certificate and be done with this entire incredible mess?
Also known as “Chumming the waters...”
Also the date of expiration is blurred. If this is his presidential passport as they claim, why blur that out ? We all know when he became president.
I also notice one strange thing on the passport. There is no line for his sex. On mine, it is on the same line as the place of birth ( right before it ), it has Sex Place of Birth. Why is it missing from his ? At first I thought they may have put it after the Place of birth on the Diplomatic passports, but if you look at the video, there is a fuller view of the right hand side. There is no entry for it on that line.
You are obviously lying, as it is not necessary to be a US citizen to obtain a social security card.
Next time, before you make up a story, I suggest check your facts to make sure it's plausible.
IN SUMMARY, it could be very well possible, that Obama obtained his first passport by lying and in those day there a birth cert was not required
There you go lying again. Do you really expect anyone to believe that the State Department just handed out passports to anyone who claimed US citizenship without showing proof?
my spouse's drivers license is reissued without have ever shown proof of a certified birth certificate or naturalization papers.
A drivers licnese and passport are not the same thing, and the documentation standard for the latter has always been much more stringent.
Birther dishonesty and stupidty never ceases to amaze me.
Any one find it incredibly dissonant how quickly Obama shows a passport (through a simple request to his ‘mailbag’), but he still fights lawsuits tooth and nail to NOT show an original, verifiable doctor-signed birth certificate??
Nobody thinks there’s a huge conspiracy. You’re raising a straw-man. Most on the right do indeed sensibly attack the Left where they are most immediately vulnerable, and where their attacks cannot be blocked by a single Judge.
You appear to believe that possession of a passport is evidence of natural-born status. Is that correct?
Do you in fact believe that possession of a US passport is a qualification, or evidence of qualification for the Presidency of the United States?
It is really very simple maybe you might be able to follow the logic, the Government has pointed out that fraud is committed, by using a fraudulent Birth Certificate, do you agree with that?
Are there people out there with documents that they have acquired with that fraudulent birth certificate, a simple yes or no will suffice.
If the Federal Government is pointing this out, is this a lie?
It has nothing to do with “birther” logic, just logic.
Two reasons 1) it is unncessary to prove his eligbility and 2) it wouldn't satisfy the brithers even if he did release it.
This means that this passport merely documents an assertion of Obama's birthplace.
Proof of place-of-birth comes from a long-form birth certificate.
This isn't very difficult.
