LONDON – Activists and relatives of those killed in the 1988 Lockerbie bombing raised new questions Sunday about the medical advice that led to the release on compassionate grounds of the only man ever convicted for the deaths.
Doctors claimed Abdel Baset al-Megrahi had only three months to live when he was freed from a Scottish jail last August and allowed to return home to Libya. But one year later, Al-Megrahi, who is being treated for prostate cancer, is still alive.

His comments and the Scottish government's refusal to publish full details of the medical advice it received when making the decision to release al-Megrahi have raised concern among bereaved families.
Considering an academic was part of the decision making process in a medical case, it's no wonder they haven't released the full details. Who's surprised by this SNAFU...?

A very close personal/business associate of mine was on that Pan Am plane and was slaughtered by Obama’s brothers. He was the kindest, decent, friendly soul you would ever want to know, an avid New York Mets baseball fan. I still revel watching his glory when he chatted about the METS during staff sessions. His untimely death caused his wonderful father to implode into devastation, a changed man forever!!! Such is the impact of the USA electing a man totally unfit to the POTUS from any viewpoint!!! This ot a SNAFU, it involves an oil company lease deal with the higher ups in the British government. All concerned have been bought and paid for, including the physicians who issued their bogus report.
He just got better treatment in Libya you see, and now his cancer is in remission. Its the HAND OF ALLAH!

There are doctors in prison, which is where he belonged until the day he died.
