Now, that's not to say that religion is without controversy. Recently, attention has been focused on the construction of mosques in certain communities -- particularly New York. Now, we must all recognize and respect the sensitivities surrounding the development of Lower Manhattan. The 9/11 attacks were a deeply traumatic event for our country. And the pain and the experience of suffering by those who lost loved ones is just unimaginable. So I understand the emotions that this issue engenders. And Ground Zero is, indeed, hallowed ground.
But let me be clear. As a citizen, and as President, I believe that Muslims have the same right to practice their religion as everyone else in this country. (Applause.) And that includes the right to build a place of worship and a community center on private property in Lower Manhattan, in accordance with local laws and ordinances. This is America. And our commitment to religious freedom must be unshakeable. The principle that people of all faiths are welcome in this country and that they will not be treated differently by their government is essential to who we are. The writ of the Founders must endure.

And that’s in spite of footage of the Egyptian ambassador saying that Obama had privately told him that he was and still is a Muslim who supports the Muslim agenda (presumably worldwide sharia and the destruction of the US and Israel).
Remember before the election when Missouri’s law enforcement group named themselves “Obama’s Truth Squad”? There were 2 particular items they weren’t going to allow people to say, on lawn signs, etc:
1) That Obama would raise taxes. And
2) That Obama is a closet Muslim.
We know why they didn’t want anybody saying #1 - because it was absolutely true.
So why, of all the things they might have wanted to hide, did they want to keep people from saying #2? Maybe...
The Muslim contribution to America is exaggerated beyond all reason.

Did they support and fight in the Revolutionary War?
Did they distinguish themselves on either side of the Civil War?
Did they fund non sectarian hospitals? I bet there is a Jewish , Catholic or Protestant hospital within a hundred miles of you. Any Muslim ones?
Are they great philanthropists? Fund any museums? Anything for the greater good.
Sure in the land of opportunity some recent Muslims may be successful and may have started a business or are competent doctors and such.
But to claim that to this point in our history Muslims have contributed in any significant manner to the well being of America and Americans is an outright lie.

Well, “they” did not applaud Obama’s “mosque” remarks, though they jumped to applaud the sentence before about everyone being equal.
Let’s make a deal. They can build the mosque wherever they want when the Israelis can tear down the Dome of the Rock in Jerusalem........
Al Qaeda’s cause is not Islam -– it’s a gross distortion of Islam. These are not religious leaders -– they’re terrorists who murder innocent men and women and children. In fact, al Qaeda has killed more Muslims than people of any other religion -– and that list of victims includes innocent Muslims who were killed on 9/11.
So that’s who we’re fighting against

Guess it was so important for Obama to address this victory Mosque in front of a group of muslim at a Ramadan dinner in the White House.
As opposed to going to New York to talk and pray with the families and victims of 9/11.
Obama continues to go against the will of the American people.
But this time,it is down right traitorous~

or just a building with English signs on a false store front where European looking men dressed in business suits and spats went to and fro talking English and keeping a low profile ???
