I must be losing my mind. Did the President of the United States really just support a Mosque at the WTC site? I grew up in NYC. I visited the WTC on business while it was up; I still have my pass to one of the floors, one of the floors that got hit. Some of the people I visited that day are dead now.
After the attack, I took the family to see the site. That day the Guggenheim was showing Norman Rockwell’s “The Four Freedoms”. Took the kids from the WTC site to the museum. Perhaps one of the most profound days I ever spent. In my wildest imagination I could never have anticipated that we would elect a man so perverted that he would actually use one of the four freedoms to justify a Mosque on the hallowed ground of the WTC site.

Does anyone in the administration have enough intelligence or education to understand the significance of the name of the organization that is building the Mosque: “Cordoba”? Current radical Islamic thinking views Spain as just temporarily lost, poised for reconquest. Cordoba represents the height of Islamic power in Spain, and hence is a clever reference to the intention to reconquer, and ultimately to conquer all western non-Islamic societies.
Obama could have kept his mouth shut, but instead choose to support the Mosque. Is he just monumentally ignorant, or is he truly evil? Has he finally crossed a symbolic line, which will recoil an overwhelming number of his former supporters? Or will he finally succeed, in the midst of the profound economic crisis, in crushing the spirit of Americans to resist as he remakes the American political and economic landscape in his perverted vision? Only we can decide. He can’t decide for us.
If you have a minute, take another look at “The Four Freedoms”. It’s a good touchstone in these perilous times.

why does the left surrender all that is sacred in America... its a phony proposition to call for “tolerance” toward those that would enslave you. The only reason the Prez would do that is because he sides with America’s enemies... he grew up with Ameica haters... whadaya think?!?!

Wait for when Americans physically protest the new construction of mosques and there is a Federal Security Force defending them...from Obamas orders.

I’m wondering whether he’s not saying stuff like this for the exact reason he’s trying to insure Republican control of Congress so he and the Partisan Political Operative Media can shred them over the ensuing 2 years & insure his reelection. None of this make sense on the face of it, so I have to think as cloaked as they were to get to where they are, they have a hidden agenda at work by doing something this openly stupid.

President Barak Hussein Obama stated:”As a citizen and as President”.
He did not say: “As a Christian”...or “as a child of two Muslim fathers”, which is rather surprising from someone who always personalizes his teleprompter, for effect.
Why in HADES is anyone shocked and/or surprised at the fact that Obama is aiding and abetting the desecration of Ground Zero?!
