Police raiding a drug den in the Italian capital have been confronted by an aggressive albino python which was used to intimidate addicts.
Police had been tipped off that they would find "an animal" during the raid on the apartment in the centre of Rome, and when they opened the door they saw a striped yellow and white snake curled up on a heat mat.
The snake, which was three metres long and was kept hungry so that it would be more aggressive, was allowed to roam the apartment to scare addicts into paying for their drugs, police said.
Animal services were called to capture the snake, which was tempted into captivity using a whole chicken and sent to a nearby zoo.
The reptile had been resting on 200 grams of pure cocaine, and a further five kilograms were found in the apartment.
Six people were arrested in the raid, on top of another six who were already in custody.
The 12 were charged with conspiracy to traffic cocaine and illegal possession of a protected species.
You had me at “python.” You had Aquaman at “Albino python,” if you know what I mean...
How do you conceal carry a 35-foot python high on dope? That would be something to see. There is a Monty Python skit in there somewhere. No pun intended...
LOL,, that’s funny... I thought about that after I posted it. Too funny.. I had NASCAR in the brain. Was waiting for a pic of a restrictor plate and a python.
Even so, it’s still creepy.
If it were az black python; it would have been on crack!
That is downright KINKY!
To be sensuous - just use a feather...
And, after eating, your Monty would be full.
I’ve been told small constrictors make good beginner snakes, since they’re generally slow to bite if well cared for, and rather gentle...anything to that?
Kinda got interested in snakes after finding an Eastern Kingsnake in the yard and reading about them being so docile you can capture a wild one and tame it with little difficulty. Friend claims he got his first snake @ 3 that way...scooped up a kingsnake and gave it a name, pretty much.
I have a ball python that is about 6 feet or so(5 yrs old).
It is the most gentle creature. I feed “Monty” a medium rat once a month and scoop his cage out and he’s good to go. Best pet I’ve ever had. No barking, pooping on the floor, scatching, walking. Etc. Just a great animal to handle. Of course, you just can’t be scared of snakes.
If the snake were to bite, your instincts of snatching away can damage the snake and tear up its tiny teeth.
I say go for it if that’s your thing.
One more note. As a kid in Florida, I used to actively look for snakes(mostly red rat snakes) and sell them to pet shops. That’s how I’d make a dollar or two.
If you take a big one, and stuff it down your toilet, it will become a 'restrictor'.
If you take a big one and coil it around 200 grams of pure cocaine, it's pretty much a restrictor to those with straws less than ten feet long.
Snakes can easily absorb certain chemicals right through their skin.
Besides, ever seen pot smokers blowing smoke at their dog's nose?
Now, here is an albino python that is currently not ON drugs.
Unless that girl’s name is a drug. :)
