The stunning decline of Barack Obama: 10 key reasons why the Obama presidency is in meltdown
By Nile Gardiner
The last few weeks have been a nightmare for President Obama, in a summer of discontent in the United States which has deeply unsettled the ruling liberal elites, so much so that even the Left has begun to turn against the White House.
While the anti-establishment Tea Party movement has gained significant ground and is now a rising and powerful political force to be reckoned with, many of the presidents own supporters as well as independents are rapidly losing faith in Barack Obama, with open warfare breaking out between the White House and the left-wing of the Democratic Party.
While conservatism in America grows stronger by the day, the forces of liberalism are growing increasingly weaker and divided.

...Presidents aloof and imperial style of leadership, and a growing perception that he is out of touch with ordinary Americans, especially at a time of significant economic pain...
...Barack Obamas striking absence of natural leadership ability (and blatant lack of experience) has played a big part in undermining his credibility...
Read all ten reasons. They're succinct and well documented.
O was nothing more than an ice sculpture that melts by the time the party is over.
Good article.
I think one of the biggest reasons he is nosediving is that he lied.
He ran as a moderate and is ramming through his real agenda - big government, nanny-state socialism.
A.V.P. Always Voting Present
These 10 points are spot-on.
Nile Gardiner succinctly sums up the failed Obama presidency. I couldn’t add a thing. A definite ‘Must Read’ for all Americans.
Feels like 18 years.
Even Emperor Obama has now noticed he has no clothes. His response? "Bush stole my clothes".
“10. Obama doesnt believe in American greatness”
Not only that, he outright hates America.
Obama thinks he has only one thing going for him - he is not Bush.
All he cares about is irreparably destroying everything the United States has stood for and what made it exceptional in world history.
If he "succeeds" in fulfilling the "Dreams of his Father", a Communist Muslim, he'll believe he was successful.
As Limbaugh so controversially noted early in the Obama Regime's reign: Success for the Obama Administration is the destruction of the United States.
Why would any true American wish success for anyone with the same objectives of those we've fought wars to resist in the past?
#10 should be #1
Again, we have to find the truth from a FOREIGN news source.
I agree, it is an excellent article. One interesting point for me: I wonder if there have been laundered funds going into MSM coffers. Their ratings have been atrocious and job cuts/profit reports don’t reflect the dire straits they must sure be financially. Perhaps the first issue for an incoming Administration would be to find and cut the financial sources for Obama-friendly media. Be nice if we could document what’s going on now, too.
Obama’s decline is simply because America has discovered who Obama really is, his self created image has not been sustainable, despite an election campaign that neve ended:

That is awesome!!!
Just glancing at the ten items and not reading the details (yet) it seems that this man has made some very astute observations.
Articles such as this miss the point entirely because the writers start off with a false assumption—that Obama is just like any other politician, and wants to gain control of the government and make changes, but not so massive ones that he can’t get re-elected and continue to hold power.
I think Obama is essentially a very simple and lazy person. He has a simple idea of what he wants to do—jam up the works in DC so badly that the only way for the nation to recover is to make sweeping changes that will lead to more government control over the individual, who is so stupid that he needs the government to get his life in order.
He sees what he’s done already and figures he’s done more than any other ‘progressive’ could do in TWO terms. He might want to be re-elected, he might not, but I don’t think it burns in him. I think he could take it or leave it, because he knows for the rest of his life he will be considered a historic figure, will get huge ‘fees’ for whatever he does next, and the remainder of his days will be ones of leisure, where his bank account will grow and he will be surrounded only by people who say he’s great.
He’s just not presidential material. All he knew how to do was lecture. He’d have probably made a pretty good ambassador, but... his ambition exceeded his ability. He should have stuck with lecturing at the law school.
