On Americas Morning News a web-based talk show sponsored by Human Events U.S. Rep. Jack Kingston was drawn into a discussion of Georgias Republican runoff for governor.
Would you have preferred that Sarah Palin butt out of it, Kingston was asked? I wish she will, Kingston said. But never mind the grammar it was live radio. He continued:
Because whats shes doing is dividing the Republican party at a time when we dont need to be divided.
Because in a case like this, really what people were saying Well, shes endorsing Karen Handel because shes a woman. [Palin] got up on stage on Monday and said, Im not doing it because shes a woman although she is a sister. You know wink, wink.
And I understand that. But what it does is, it makes Republicans say, well, maybe we do need to rethink Karen Han I mean, Sarah Palin, as somebody who does shoot from the hip a little bit too much. Because I think Karen Handel is a very decent candidate, but shes clearly the more moderate person in the race

Google "Jack Kingston Obamacare" before shooting from the hip.
Never do that either.
Yeah. Free speech was never intended for wimmins anyway.
She lost more than one and not because she backed Handel. She uses loyalty and civility to excuse her backing of McCain in Arizona then endorses one of the nastiest primary campaigners in my memory here in Georgia against someone who has for years loyally supported everything she stands for. What a pathetic double standard.
Then Sarah should explain the layout of the race. Juan needs to be replaced, even with a suboptimal replacement.
You nailed it.
I thought her approval rating was -100% among “REAL” Conservatives, and nobody wanted her to run anyway?
He’s not saying she “can’t”. He’s saying she shouldn’t, when she doesn’t know jack squat about the people involved, other than one’s got a pecker and the other doesn’t.
The mama grizzly in Georgia (Sarah Palin backed) just lost.
“You nailed it. “
If anyone would know, you would.
The media is making it appear she is endorsing mostly women. That isn't true. Her endorsements are here:
Among the 28 candidates she's endorsed, according to her Facebook page, 10 have been women and 18 have been men . . .
Didn’t know much about this race to begin with but Handle is very much a team player. So few votes separated her and the winner with absentee and overseas not counted, most people would have waited or asked for a recount.
She conceded because she didn’t want to disrupt the primary and interfere with the Republican nominee’s chances.
Very classy, no matter her sex.
I agree with that assessment.
Let’s make a deal:
Palin will butt out of state races if/when Clinton, Carter, etc. get out of the domestic/foreign policy limelight then go somewhere and STFU!!!
Deal???
Someone with a 95% ACU rating is not a RINO.
We have the popprtunity of a lifetime to defeat the left and to bicker over who Sarah likes, as opposed to the communist RAT pofs marxist, is beyond insane.
I like Sarah a ton, but she is not my harbinger of who to support or not support.
We need to defeat the left, first, foremost, and always.
In before the school marm corrects me to correct the spelling of Handel.
What kind of logical thought process is this?
The plain fact is that politics is a battle between factions, which are formed based on beliefs and world view.
One must win, and one must lose. The election does not heal the breech, it declares a winner. To engage in this system while decrying the system is an asinine position to take.
Newt is a Georgian. Palin was the first outsider to endorse a candidate in the GOP primary -- and chose the least conservative one. Then Romney joined her in support of Handel. Huckabee came in at the last minute to counter Handel's smear of Nathan Deal -- which was based solely upon a report by the Soros-funded "Citizens for Responsibility and Ethics in Washington" (CREW).
I agree with Jack Kingston, a solid Conservative who initially supported Eric Johnson in the GOP gubernatorial primary. Outsiders should stay out of primaries just like wise people stay out of other people's family squabbles, and then support their party's nominees. Otherwise, they are just going to alienate a significant number of people whose support may soon prove valuable.
She’s the tops. She has my vote just for pissing off the RINO elite.
