A former commander of Iran's Revolutionary Guard says Iran has dug mass graves to bury U.S. soldiers in preparation for an American attack on the country.
In an interview with the Associated Press, former Iranian General Hossein Kan'ani Moghadam said the graves have been dug in Iran's southwestern Khuzestan province.
Moghadam said this is the same area where Iran buried Iraqi soldiers killed during the 1980 to 1988 war with Iraqi leader Saddam Hussein's regime.
He said the mass graves used for burying Iraqi soldiers have now been prepared for U.S. soldiers.
Video footage shows a large number of empty, freshly dug graves in a desert region. The digging of graves was first reported earlier this week by Iran's semiofficial FARS news agency.
Moghadam also said if U.S. forces attack, Iran will have no choice but to strike American bases in other countries in the region.
The war of words between the United States and Iran has intensified since the U.N. Security Council imposed a fourth round of sanctions against Iran in June for its refusal to stop uranium enrichment.

We have so many issues in our own country, we need to take care of our own problems before we go around bullying other nations. I don’t mean to sound liberal? but hey our own president is an enemy of the state and most of the feds as well.
We have so many issues in our own country, we need to take care of our own problems before we go around bullying other nations. I don’t mean to sound liberal? but hey our own president is holding his office illegally.
we can do the same... lining them with bacon grease
of course, that does imply there will be enough to scoop up and place in the pit.
pooper scoopers to be standard issue?
If true, at least we’ll have places to put their troops thanks to their hard work.
I wonder if these graves are large enough to fit the drones, missiles and aircraft that actually will pose the greatest risk to Iran’s nuclear capability and regime survival. This “threat” by the Iranians sounds like the Cowardly Lion saying “I’ll fight you with one arm tied behind my back.”
Baghdad Bob said the same thing.
Reminds me of the old joke about the lone Israeli tank vs the entire Egyptian Army.
Might just be Keyensian economic at work....
While there is some value in your comment - I think that dropping a couple of drone missiles on the plants that build IEDs that Kill our TROOPS would be a wake up call...it should ahve been done as soon as we learned about them!
Iranians the Iraqis got tired of shooting that human crap and simply electrocuted a Bunch of them crossing a river. Some electric cables and generators did the job nicely.
Finally! I heard Obama had created shovel-ready jobs, but I hadn’t seen any. There they are.
I recall Iraq doing this same sort of stuff prior to their liberation from Saddam.....apparently it plays well to the crowds there, or at least the ruling psychopaths think that it does.
I suppose that as long as they employ lots of people digging ditches there will be fewer workers and equipment available for more significant troublemaking, so I welcome it.
“He said the mass graves used for burying Iraqi soldiers have now been prepared for U.S. soldiers.”
That is so thoughtful of them...however, I think these graves will more likely be used to bury Iranian dead when Israel (followed by the U.S.) finally get enough of Iran.
More likely, these graves are for all the little girls they’re going to hang for selling their bodies to have something to eat.
how many predators fit in a mass grave ?
This is some kind of sick joke, right?
If a war were to break out (and it won’t with our muzzie in charge) as soon as our cluster bombs drop they’ll be crapping in their rags and running for mommy.
The U.S. dug a number of graves in Saudi Arabia facing Mecca before the ground phase of Operation Desert Storm for Arab allies who fell in liberating Kuwait, since they needed to be buried before sundown on the day they fell.
The stalwart resistance of the battlehardenrepublicanguard (one word in the LSM lexicon) ensured that the vast majority of them were unused.
Few Americans fell in Operation Enduring Freedom, either. The U.S. military would cut through Iranian forces like the proverbial hot knife through butter. What to do with Iran afterwards might be a problem, but why make it our problem? Give it to the first country that offers any critism. OK, Sweden, we quit, it's yours. France, you want to run the place, you did such a great job last time you were in the Middle East. Turkey, come and get it.
