Congressman: Obama 'enjoying' eligibility dispute

A member of Congress from California says there's no need for the president to be born in the United States or to have two parents who are United States citizens to be a "natural born citizen" and be eligible to be president.
And U.S. Rep. Brian Bilbray, R-Calif., told WND today that he believes President Obama, who's been named as a defendant in multiple legal and other challenges claiming he is not eligible to be president, is enjoying the dispute over his background.
Further, Bilbray said the document that Obama critics should be hunting for is the passport he used when he traveled to Indonesia and other places early in his life.
The controversy over Bilbray's comments developed when a Youtube video was posted. In the video, of a television interview on "The Ed Show," Bilbray said, "It's just like people thinking that you gotta be born in the United States to be president. You don't have to be. That's a legend. We got to clarify that."

A bunch of them are probably in a conference skype call or something, feverishly trying to figure out the next “strategy”.
So far on one other thread I just took a peek at, their “strategy” consists of a type of kindergarten “nyah nyah nyah” tactic. Minus the melodious sing-song.

Best advice I have heard all week. Thanks very much.

I want to see him say Gosh, I was wrong - you are right after all!LOL! Fat chance of that happening.
It would be entertaining to watch them spin it though!

Ummm, hate to burst your bubble, but the wee ‘WON’ was listed on Dunham’s 1965 passport in which it shows crossed off (she was asking for it to be removed) in the 1968(not 67) application filed in Jakarta, Indonesia.

Her U.S. citizenship was a given, and yet the State Department is requesting an inquiry into her sons citizenship. Think about it if you can??? You birthers aren't very good at original thought, I see.
To a person with an IQ above room temperature, this isn't hard. Under the laws in effect at the time, there are instances in which a child of a US citizen might not inherit citizenship at birth. Hence the mere fact that he is her son didn't automatically make him a citizen. Hence the state department had to verify it.
Duh.

Sorry -- wrong again. This letter was written after that ridiculous "memo to file" [which is probably bogus anyway, was sent to nobody, and thus meant nothing and means nothing. If what was in it was believable and documentable, then it would have been in the letter/documents sent to the State Department, which subsequently then would not be asking for an inquiry into her son's citizenship. It would have been a given -- but it was not. The capacity for birther to engage in incomprehensible babble never ceases to amaze me.

in which it shows crossed off (she was asking for it to be removed) in the 1968(not 67) application filed in Jakarta, Indonesia.
Sorry, I don't follow you. How exactly does the fact she crossed his name off her 1968 application prove he was on her 1965 passport?

your name gives you away, you are always curious because you have no brain to actually research the facts yourself.
Do the research & you will get your answer

To: curiosity
listen up sweetie, I do NOT do anyone’s homework for them. Never have & never will. people like you are nothing but lazy drones who have not an ounce of a personal self responsibility gene in you. you consistantly come here for answers, yet you attribute nothing new to the debate. The only thing you are good for is regurgitating propaganda from liberal leftist sites.
