'Birthers' fade after passage of law against them

The persistent quest for President Barack Obama's Hawaii birth certificate has died down since the state passed a law allowing it to ignore repetitive requests for the document.
Far fewer "birthers," who claim Obama is ineligible to be president, have asked state officials to provide the document since the law was enacted in May, according to the state.
The law has never even been put to use, said Department of Health spokeswoman Janice Okubo. The number of people seeking proof that Obama was born outside of Hawaii and the United States diminished without the law being invoked.
Only about two or three e-mails now seek verification of Obama's birth each week, compared to between 10 and 20 weekly requests earlier this year.
"We have a handful of repeat requesters, but they know about the law," Okubo said. "They do everything they can to get around it."
Such tactics include having a relative or friend make the document request, she said, or asking for the vital records of Obama's relatives in search of clues that would show he was born outside the U.S.
Hawaii law has long barred the release of a certified birth certificate to anyone who does not have a tangible interest.

None of the Freepers that have requested information has EVER asked for Bams BC. They only made requests for public information. This spin is just that, lying spin.
Also the "headline" is ridiculous. Birthers have been outlawed?! Such idiots!.

Personally, I doubt that he was born in the US, and I wish proof would turn up.
I could care less if he was born in Hawaii. His Hawaii birth is a foil, a faux issue!
I care that he doesn't qualify to be POTUS, no matter where he was born, because he isn't the child of two citizen parents.
That is what the real issue is and what so many try to deflect attention from.

But it is a very big deal when the President of the United States is suspected of being a fraud. If it is ever proved, every document he signed into law, isn't law. Lets consider the Democrats straightening that mess out. How many law suits can you count? How many appointees would have to run for Canada? It would be one hell of a mess.

That's because they knew what the law, which has been posted numerous times here at FR, said.

Dear Janice,
Though the mills of God grind slowly, yet they grind exceeding small;
Though with patience he stands waiting, with exactness grinds he all.
translation:
The wheels of Justice grind slowly but they eventually reach their proper location crushing those who stand in the way of Justice.

They can’t release something they don’t have. Even Obama can’t get them to release something they don’t have. That would explain why he would post a fake COLB on his web site.

There is one way to force him to prove his citizenship, challenge his citizenship by impeaching him. Force him to prove he is a citizen or else.
I doubt if there are enough people in congress that have the courage to do that. But we would get an answer.

I really dont see why this isnt a big deal. It is for the Choir. For the rest of the congregation, not so much...

You said: “because he isn’t the child of two citizen parents.”
But it does matter that we look at all the issues. There is more evidence that he was born in Kenya. ie: his grandmothers statement, the statement in Kenyan parliament that he was born in Kenya etc.
He may have been an Indonesian citizen. Indonesia did not allow dual citizenship.
All avenues need to be explored, not just one. No one is discounting anything at this point.

And where is that ‘requirement’ in the Constitution?
You don’t get to create definitions out of no where.

This is the theater of the absurd...when we finally get to see the great state paper, or the fact here is not one, I think anyone who had and handiwork in keeping this a state secret should be hung.
Funny how no one ever, in the media, asks the question that begs being anwered...if there is nothing to hide, why not show it.

Yup. This is just spin trying to make requesters look stupid. It simply makes them look desperate to conceal even public info. That’s what’s telling. There’s something to find even in public info which they have now blocked.

I wonder if the Chinese have the goods on him and they’re using it as leverage to get what they want out of him and the US government. It would fit, would it not? So now the Chinese are milking him for everything for the next couple of years, unless he’s impeached.

Now THAT is an idea that I haven’t seen before. You’re right, we don’t have any Henry Hydes anymore. And that’s a shame.

Just not being on the ballot in a few states would be a huge issue the MSM could not ignore, even if they were guaranteed-Republican states.

Don't play stupid. You know it's from Vatel.
You also know that it's stated in court cases that recourse outside of the Constitution is needed for such a definition.
Your game is old and tired.
