I support the boycott of NYC.
These people are organizing a huge protest:

Muslims not only left an indelible scar on the NYC landscape, which has not had one brick laid at Ground Zero in the almost 10 years since it happened, but now they wish to brand the city with their mosque next to the site.
And Bloomberg thinks we should be ashamed for not embracing that?
gonna turn off the television and radio, are you? bear in mind that rush, beck, and fnc are all out of new york city . . .
and when you watch television, it’s networks based in new york city who make money. likewise movies, records, and so on.
Done. And those Damn Yankees too. I have joined the boycott. Feels good.
A more realistic suggestion was for NYC builders, contractors and suppliers to boycott the mosque construction itself.
These are desperate times and it's too bad that by ignoring the Muslim threat these politicians are inviting harm to their own constituents.
By boycotting, it will hit New Yorkers in the pocketbook, but that's much more benign that what's coming.
I would pleased if the good people of NYC started helping the construction by donating pails of pork chitlens.
FNC is out of NYC.
Also, to know and understand the truth about why the leftists world over supports Islam just go to this site and read the FACTS;

They would ship some immigrants in probably.
How can New Yorkers put up with this crap?
There are millions of people there. No matter what their politics
are, they must have “some” loyalty to America.
They need to do everything they can to stop this.
Oh, my. Soon we’re going to be boycotting everyone, everywhere.
bump
NO WAY!
If this is true and there is anyone left who doesn't believe that these Muslim a-holes aren't lining up to take a collective and symbolic piss on America is too stupid to live.
If...IF...these savages aren't trying to make a point by building this mosque so close to Ground Zero, then why isn't a ground breaking date sometime in August or October acceptable? Why 9/11 of ANY year?
I hope somebody burns the damned thing to the ground if it gets built. And burns it again each time they try.
Just like Toranaga did to Blackthorne.
I support the boycott of NYC.
After 9-11, my family and I began taking vacations to NYC. We love the city. We’ve been there so often now that we really know the city very well. We are boycotting because of this mosque thing. I’ll never go back there if it gets built.
The only people that can, and I hope will, stop this bitch-slap to the USA are the people of New York.
We should communicate to them our shared outrage that their crappy city officials have left them twisting in the wind and how we will support them in any manner encouraging them to take matters down routes to make sure that other state officials, local lawsuits, protest groups, local business and utilities stop the project from proceeding.
All it takes is one utility board to stand fast as say they will not deliver water service for fire sprinklers or similar road block to bring the whole process to a screaching halt in court. We can’t do it — New Yorkers can and I hope will. Those New Yorkers I deal with will know my support of their outrage and have my encourgament to act to stop this in a non-violent but no less forceful manner.
End of story.
Personally, I boycott boycotts. Nevertheless, as a NYC resident, PLEASE boycott our city and don’t ever visit. We have too many tourists as it is.
