Oof. I’ve seen that look many times. Ask to see the manager of any bureaucracy and that face will be sitting behind the desk.

Ellendra - is it my imagination, or does this woman strongly resemble that Slitheen in Doctor Who?

She was the Solicitor General for all the suits against Obama filed with the Supreme Court to show proof of natural born citizenship. All of the requests were denied a hearing by her.And she was just rewarded for her loyalty.(Self censoring the rest of my post.)

":All of the requests were denied a hearing by her." There are plenty of reasons to loathe Kagan, but that's not one of them. She didn't "deny" anyone a hearing. In fact, she didn't even argue a single case, or file a single brief as not a single case was granted cert by the Supreme Court. Judges make determinations about what cases are or are not herd, not litigants. The Solicitor General is the chief litigator for the US government in cases appearing before the Supreme Court, and nothing more.

And he will find a way to be able to appoint at least one more. He’s going to make sure he makes at least one more appointment before he leaves office.
Obama is the worst thing that ever happend to this country.
To: Alter Kaker
In the long run with her twenty to forty years of possible seating on this court, she will do much more damage than Obama could do in two terms.

Compare the resistance Kagan faced from GOP Senators to the treatment of Robert Bork by liberal Senate Dems.
Problem defined.

What the hell is wrong with Maine? You would think people that live in that icebox would be among the most self-sufficient, independent souls in the US.
Did FDR buy them coal during the depression or something?
