The Senate has voted to confirm Elena Kagan.
By the way, FioRINO said early on that she would’ve voted to confirm Sodomyer and didn’t see anything wrong with Kagan.
Never vote for or support a RINO!! Theyll screw you in the end EVERY time!!
Remember in November!!
Unfortunately, conservatives have never read Rules for Radicals and have no idea how to do civil disobedience. We had better learn very quickly!
or just draw another line in the sand “they dare not cross”.
Scott Brown voted no.
Senate Roll Call
And unless someone reminds the sweating masses, they're right
This was a set from the get.
So when will Bob Bork be getting his apology?
We need a Souter.
Marxist confirmation, MORE BILLIONS to “save” teachers and the STINKING unions, blah blah blah.. I’ve had about as much of this SH*T as I can take!
New England Republicans are paleo-Republicans, from the bad old days when the Democrats were the party of the benighted, segregated South and big city machine Bosses. The machine hangs on in a few places though it isn't what it used to be, but the biggest flip has been the South.
I think it’s gonna be fun watching her make a fool of herself. She’s simply not accustomed to having to defend her views by any logical adult standard. Her world is totally tinted by her naively juvenile ideology—Marxism.
Shades of FDR.
As soon as we elect some...
>> 63/37 eutectic
Which Republicans bent over the party line and “took it for the team”?
They probably wouldn’t have voted for her if they cared about reelection this year. Here are the relection schedules:
Susan Collins (ME)is up for reelection on 2014
Lindsey Graham (SC)in 2014
Richard Lugar (IN) in 2012
Olympia Snowe (ME) in 2012
..and Judd Gregg (NH) is retiring and leaving us this legacy.
They are hoping we have short memories.
Nathan Lane has to play her in the movie version of the Supreme Court.
Our defectors: Collins (R-ME), Graham (R-SC), Gregg (R-NH), Lugar (R-IN) and Snowe (R-ME)
Their lone defector was Nelson (D-NE). YEAs 63 NAYs 37
Awesome!
May I borrow that for the Lovely Lindsey ping list? Thanks.
Collins, Graham and Gregg are not up for reelection until 2014. The voters in ME, SC, and NH must never forget this and throw them out. Lugar and Snowe are up in 2012. Voters in ME and IN, need to send them packing. There was no need for any republican to vote for her
Good. Not my preferred choice, but certainly one of the better names I’ve seen bandied around in recent years. Good as you’ll get with such an overly politicised process that values leanings over competence. In this system, you have to resugn yourself to the fact that the day of the great jurists is well past.
