This bill raises taxes on businesses operating overseas.
Nice job, Maine.

Teachers' unions all over the country thank you.
You two are utterly worthless, even by senate standards.

I look forward to the day where a Tea Party-ized GOP not only refuses to tolerate this, but is willing to hold a high-profile televised ceremony officially drumming them out of the party.

"Really, are these two worth the trouble???? " You can't answer that question without knowing what the balance of power count is in the Senate. If they are the 61st and 62nd Republican vote, respectively, then no, they aren't worth the trouble.
But, when you're already spotting the opposition 10-seats to parity, then YES, they're worth the trouble.

Please Lord, allow us to vote in some more Republican U.S. senators in November 2010 and 2012 so we are not at the mercy of the ladies from Main.

The Senate is 1/3 of what is ruining States and Local economies, as they taker more money from the private sector, states and local school boards continue to have severe budget problems.

Moderate Republicans? There are DEMOCRATS who are more conservative than those to. I’ve said it before, I’ll say it again—these two are nothing more than Obama’s Comfort Girls.

From the Hill website:
“...For liberals, the offsets came at a price: Almost $12 billion of the $26.1 billion tab is covered by cutting food stamp benefits to low-income Americans beginning in 2014.”
So it looks like the poor will be taking another one on the chin to pay for the Libs greedy union interests. Funny how things like this rarely get mentioned...

The only time these two seem to count is when adding up the numbers for majority control of the chamber - they seem to always vote with the RAT pack, with very few exceptions like Obamacare. Remember when the count was close (little tommy daschle days) and the pubbies said "well let's share leadership roles"? Can you ever imagine the RATS agreeing to such nonsense - the GOP is it's worse enemy.

Here's what folks in Maine will be paying for, along with the rest of the nation...
(New York) State put freeze on hiring, then added 51,464 people
But state officials hired 51,464 people at a cost to taxpayers of more than $1 billion in salaries, plus fringe benefits, since that decree on July 30, 2008.
The hires include sons of elected officials, a close friend of the governors and a slew of highly paid political appointees.
