President Barack Obama and his allies in the Senate have won a key vote to advance a bill to help states and local school boards with their severe budget problems...Moderate Maine Republicans Olympia Snowe and Susan Collins cast the key votes to break the GOP filibuster.

This bill raises taxes on businesses operating overseas.
Nice job, Maine.
“Moderate” - code name for RINOs and commie-enablers
You two are utterly worthless, even by senate standards.
Keep local governments big and bloated that’ll help jump start the economy!
I look forward to the day where a Tea Party-ized GOP not only refuses to tolerate this, but is willing to hold a high-profile televised ceremony officially drumming them out of the party.
When do these RINOs terms expire?
You can't answer that question without knowing what the balance of power count is in the Senate. If they are the 61st and 62nd Republican vote, respectively, then no, they aren't worth the trouble.
But, when you're already spotting the opposition 10-seats to parity, then YES, they're worth the trouble.
Please Lord, allow us to vote in some more Republican U.S. senators in November 2010 and 2012 so we are not at the mercy of the ladies from Main.

The Senate is 1/3 of what is ruining States and Local economies, as they taker more money from the private sector, states and local school boards continue to have severe budget problems.
Worthless whores.
Moderate Republicans? There are DEMOCRATS who are more conservative than those to. I’ve said it before, I’ll say it again—these two are nothing more than Obama’s Comfort Girls.
(Maine Witches Alert)
you misspelled the middle word....there is suppose to be a ‘B’ in there somewhere, I believe???
These two hens are worse than Rino’s, they’re just moonbats who happen to have an “R” next to their name.
From the Hill website:
“...For liberals, the offsets came at a price: Almost $12 billion of the $26.1 billion tab is covered by cutting food stamp benefits to low-income Americans beginning in 2014.”
So it looks like the poor will be taking another one on the chin to pay for the Libs greedy union interests. Funny how things like this rarely get mentioned...
Snowe is up in 2012, Collins in 2014.
They will both be re-elected, since the democrats always run ultra-left moonbats against them....Ted Kennedy and Cindy Sheehan types. Snowe and Collins end up looking good to the voters of Maine when compared to their democrat moonbat opponents.
The solution: elect a number or true conservatives from the South and West. If the GOP has sufficient numbers in the Senate, the votes of Snowe and Collins won’t matter any longer.....they’ll be neutered and rendered irrevelant.
“Teachers’ unions all over the country thank you.”
This is a 100% union payback. And the worst part is the dims push it through without losing any political capital. The one thing the minority Republicans could do is prove it is totally political and embarrass them. Just have a Republican on the senate floor read off a list of gym teachers & drivers ed teachers making $100,000 a year. These districts can afford that but are broke? Come on. That would REALLY resonate with a lot of people in this economy.
