Four men were convicted today of murdering an innocent couple by firebombing the wrong house in a botched 'honour' killing.
Abdullah Mohamed, 41, and his wife Ayesha, 39, were at home in bed when petrol was poured through the letterbox of their home in Blackburn, Lancashire, and set on fire.
But the gang recruited to carry out the attack were supposed to target the house of a man 20 doors away who was having a secret affair with another man's married sister.
Two of their three children, a girl aged 14 and a boy aged nine, were also trapped in the house but survived.
The arson attack had been arranged by London Underground systems operator Hisamuddin Ibrahim, 21, after he discovered his married sister was having an affair.
Ibrahim had asked his best friend Habib Iqbal and two other men, Mohammed Miah and Sadek Miah (no relation), to drive up from London overnight to carry out the attack on the home of her lover.
Ibrahim, 21, of Shelley Avenue, London, Habid Iqbal, 25, of Strone Road, London, and Mohammed Miah, 19, of Pelley Road, London, and Sadek Miah, 23, of Byng Street, Isle of Dogs, London, all denied murder, but Sadek Miah pleaded guilty to manslaughter.
It took a jury just 90 minutes today to convict all four defendants of murder following a six-week trial at Preston Crown Court. They are due to be sentenced tomorrow.

Thank you for your gracious compliment :-) Although I of course agree, I believe that brutish men can be found anyplace but the truly insidious aspect of this matter is that such behavior is not only condoned but DEMANDED by Islam. While we in the West do our best to treat ladies well and as a society we aggressively frown on any mistreatment of women, Islam instead is based not only on child rape but in very clearly scripted and breathtaking brutalities against women who are specifically assigned a significantly lower estimation of value than men (and perhaps some animals?).
I believe that one important and true test of any culture's worth in the grand scheme of things is in how that culture treats ladies, and Islam fails that test miserably

It does happen in the US. A year or two ago, in Irving TX, one of these idiots killed his two teenaged daughters because he thought they had become “too Westernized” as evidenced by the way they dressed, etc.

I believe that I remember that case. A breathtaking, utterly heartbreaking crime that I'm sure would have been applauded in a Sharia court.
We can expect this sort of abominable, subhuman behavior anyplace Islam is allowed to gain a foothold.
(BTW, I just returned last month from a 10k mile car trip through the South and Southwest, and I fell completely in love with both regions. It was my first visit to Texas and several other States, and I didn't want to come home to the North because the people I met were SO FRIENDLY. "sigh")
Lock ‘em in an equivalent house, douse with gasoline, allow relatives of deceased to set light. If they don’t want to, I’ll do it.

I’ll make it easy for you. There is no God. The atrocities recorded in the Bible, if true, were just human viciousness, with their made-up God used as an excuse.
I have no objection if you choose to believe in a God, or even that what those people did was just ducky. I don’t.

That’s because its a news article, not an opinion column. You can hardly complain about media bias and then practice it yourself. And anyway, does there need to be any word of condemnation? Anyone with any ounce of sense and decency can draw the obvious conclusions to this sorry affair.
