Barack Hussein Obama did not sneak into power. An army of clueless, disconnected, ignorant Americans invited him to bring his Marxist, glaringly anti-American jihad into our lives. This president's overtly destructive, clear-and-present-danger agenda is surpassed in transparency only by his ultra-leftist public voting record and overall lifetime conduct of consorting with the enemy as a child and student of Marxism, socialist and racist community organizer, congregant of the blatant America-hating black-theology- and social-justice-spewing Rev. Jeremiah Wright and close personal friend of convicted communist terrorists like Bill Ayers, and by his unflinching appointment of an array of communist czars, including Van Jones, Cass Sunstein, Anita Dunne, et al. So let me get this straight: You claim your intentions were noble because you simply wanted to get your child a puppy but somehow didn't notice that it was foaming at the mouth, and now you're shocked that your child has rabies? I think not. That is not a mistake. It is negligence -- dangerous, life threatening and, I am convinced, downright criminal negligence.
And the price for such negligence is catastrophic, don't you know.
But it gets worse. For, you see, the blame doesn't fall just on the obvious stupidity of our friends and families who voted for this corrupt, death-wish government in whose stranglehold we find ourselves. Ultimately, it is our fault. It is the failure of those of us who know better but have failed miserably to educate our own. Living our lives with a captive audience of family, friends, co-workers, socialites, fellow worshippers at church and other parents at school -- everyone in our everyday walks of life -- far too many of us have allowed uneducated, history-devoid, denial-riddled, fantasy-driven, anti-gun and anti-hunting, anti-capitalism general ignoramuses to remain so and run amok, ... We put this America hater, POTUS Barack Hussein Obama into office and, now we have the chance in November, 2010 to totally destroy the Democrat Party as an effective political force. But since 1900, were living in the Laodicean era, the first era in 2000 years that has thrown the Bible and Christ overboard. Society continues relentlessly to move in the wrong direction.
However, those of us who know better and are Christ's must go in a different direction. By His mercy and grace, the same God that founded America may extend her life before He comes. May we do our part to shine the light on the right Way and may God in His mercy grant yet another spiritual awakening, the only answer to what is otherwise a certain death march of society.

I wish Ted Nugent would give us all help in explaining the horrors of Obama’s plans for us, starting with explaining Obama’s Deathcare which will put EVERYONE on Medicaid. Obama voters have no idea of what they will face if they or their family members become ill. Lines, lines, lines around the Medicaid buildings; impossibility to get the proper forms in time to save their loved one’s life, etc.
And so much more.
McCain was neck to neck with Obama after Palin was declared the Vice Presidential candidate, it was a horse race and then...Wall Street took a dump because regulators, legislators, investors, news media and whistle blowers were asleep at the wheel. Anyone lamenting the rapid ascendancy of Obama will most likely be paying more attention to the relevant economic indicators in the future. No one is immune from a reality smackdown.

The American public, collectively speaking, is shallow and can not handle two thoughts simultaneously. It judges and votes on impressions gathered from a few fleeting observations and on good/ugly looks.
Let’s hope that this same public is able to see the big mistake it made in November 2008 and vote again for change.

The only thing wrong with your analysis is that nothing was done covertly, all the indicators were public knowledge years in advance and Wall Street HAD to be asleep because being unaware of the danger of DERIVATIVE speculative investment and bad loans bundled with good, then insured past any possibility of covering losses which got the loan packages a AAA rating, absolutely indicates an industry full of sleepwalkers.
Nobody saw it coming because nobody WANTED to see it coming, which is a sad fact of economic awareness on the part of people who should have known better and were in a position to raise alarms years before this hit the fan.
Derivative speculative instruments create bubbles and should be heavily regulated if not outlawed. Those bad loans should have been written off and their losses suffered AS THEY OCCURRED instead of being bundled, insured and resold as AAA; a ticking time bomb.

European libs said the same about the American public when they voted for Bush- “Americans are stupid”. Interesting psychology is involved when the losing side accuses the winner of stupidity when the obvious conclusion is that the losing side had to have been stupid otherwise they would have won, eh?

I agree with the sentiment, but sometimes the evidence is overwhelming that it is more than just “your guy didn’t win”. It took amazing stupidity on many, MANY levels to cast a vote for Obama. And it was NOT stupid to choose Bush over AlGore or Kerry.
You forget the fact that a huge swathe of the American population IS clueless politically, and would rather talk about what they saw on TMZ on in whatever sheep show sporting event is going on. We call these folks “swing voters” or, as I like to call them, roadkill.
