SACRAMENTO, CA (KGO) -- A Sacramento woman says a tech support engineer in India managed to expose her secrets and make charges to her credit card after she called him with a desperate request.
...
Shortly thereafter, 16 nude photographs appeared on a vulgar website created for the sole purpose of displaying her pictures.
...
In conversations that became increasingly personal, the support technician offered to help Fitzgerald remove the offensive website and somehow convinced her to ship him a brand new Dell laptop so he could work on her case from his home in Mumbai.

Dell was the first big co. to send their help desk to India, ** them I will never buy their stuff.
I’ve seen the lady at the link.
The thread is better WITHOUT pictures.
Just teach them all to keep repeating, "I so sorry".
Dude, you gotta Dell from hell!
Dumb and dumber.
I’ll bet she voted for Obama.
Ya gotta be stupid to buy a Dell.
It’s part of the requirement.
I’m not sure US customer support would be capable of swinging that if they tried.
They’re both idiots.
LOL!
Fitzgerald later discovered he shipped $800 worth of Dell computer gear to the woman's home in Waynesboro and billed it to Fitzgerald's Dell credit card
Go Dell!
Being naive is a Dell purchase requirement.
Did she break her arm or wrist banging on the wall after hanging up with the Indian tech?
You pay the people in India 75cents an hour and you pay the people in China 5 cents an hour.
And then you make people in both countries work under slave conditions (which is what I understand is true of Dell employees in those countries).
But then HP does one better, they don't hire just Techs from India, they hire Engineers from India and China to do their computer work...
Or carpal tunnel from too many face palms over the years?
I own a support company and we provide all of our solutions from companies that are US based and staffed by US employees/citizens. It might cut into our margins a little but it is simply the right thing to do... We tell our clients that if they have a problem we can’t resolve remotely the same tech they start on the phone with will probably be the person that shows up at their door.
How can these companies stand behind their products and services if they don’t know the people that are responsible for delivering them??
You don’t want to know how she broke that wrist. Its all in the pictures, no doubt.

This thread now has a picture.
Unless she’s hiding something important, I’ve seen enough.
In fact, earlier today, I saw a blogpimp that was more stimulating, in a prurient, trashy sort of way.
“Yes, YOUR health records are or will be in the hands of cheap labor in India and you have no say about it.”
It ain’t just your health records. If you get your credit checked or make a credit card transaction one of the biggest corporations to offer this service has off-shored your financial information to India. I won’t name names.
No doubt...It's all about dirt cheap labor......These companies are pitiful.
