Well, if the Rs take the house and or the senate, they’ll put and end to the bad change we’re getting right now.
I have no idea what kind of crazy plans the Dems have for 2011, and I don’t want to find out.
There might be some people who are voting R not because they’ll see immediate positive change but because they want to stop Obama’s bad change. Voting R would do exactly that.
“Honestly, no, I dont believe a Republican takeover of Congress would lead to significantly better governance.”
That depends on the post election activity of the Tea Party and conservative activists. If anyone thinks that they can go to sleep if/after Republicans win the House, we will again see Republicans co-opted by the Left. Conservatives have won some primaries and given rinos a run for their money like never before. We know we will get some rinos and when we do we must pressure them after the election and if they do not perform, we must put up a vigorous primary challenge. The TP and patriot groups help to give us an organizational vehicle to better pressure rinos and wayward conservatives. Dims, of course, will be completely unresponsive to our needs and concerns.
We may not get much legislative change during the next election cycle, but we will stop the Leftist tide and gain the right to conduct investigations of the administration.
Great news. I wish there was at least a state-by-state breakdown, which is more important.
I’d be a lot happier if those Republicans were ALL conservatives.
Thirty-seven percent think it would lead to change for the better, while 21 percent say it would change for the worse.
What's really shocking is that in party identification, the GOP had a four point lead! This is the first time I've ever seen such a poll result since the Reagan era, if at all. This could either indicate a real and important shift in party ID or be due to an error in sampling technique whereby Republicans were overpolled.
Can't answer that. Best to ask that to the pollster who devised the technique and see what he/she has to say. There is no polling firm mentioned, to the best of my knowledge, so I'd presume Fox has their own in-house polling subdivision if that's the case.
Thanks for the ping!
Sweet! Thanks for the ping.
Yeah, that’s a great point!
