Interesting that this Fox result on the Generic Congressional Ballot is about the same as Rasmussen's last one, yet Fox is sampling all registered voters while Rasmussen does likely voters. So, because of the enthusiasm gap, Fox's results bode even better for the GOP, at least if taken at face value.

What's really shocking is that in party identification, the GOP had a four point lead! This is the first time I've ever seen such a poll result since the Reagan era, if at all. This could either indicate a real and important shift in party ID or be due to an error in sampling technique whereby Republicans were overpolled.

Are we sure FOX did not oversample Republicans ( just as the other liberal pollers like CNN are wont to oversample Democrats ) ?
